Yes! I never knew that some people do not clean their meats until a few years ago. I can't imagine not doing this!

Yes I always clean my meats before cooking. Sometimes I may be lazy & not do a detailed job but I still soak and clean always. The most part I hate is taking the fat off so sometimes I don’t do that 😂

I once had a roommate who was from Trinidad, and their family showed me how to rinse and clean chicken. It always gets that gamey taste out of the chicken, get rid of the slime, and the fat is easier to cut off. I freaking hate the fat it's absolutely disgusting. . I like the hint of vinegar and lime. Just make sure to make a container with bleach water and bleach off the sink and everything after you've finished and the chicken is cooking. Bleach it all down. I do this almost every day because my meals are mostly Curry's and masala. Served with rice or roti bread. Tried an experiment once where I did not trim or wash the chicken, and I don't care how much seasoning and spices you could put the whole package of masala and kitchen King and you can still taste the nasty barnyard chicken fat flavor.
