Two bucket method works much better. Also on the C8, I cover the back window engine bay vents with damp towels to keep water from going in the engine. On the doors IH eve Expel only on the bottom 1/3 and none on the back/engine lid cover; so mostly in front. and lower sides.

The two bucket method is a huge waste of time if the car isn't insanely dirty. My cars are very rarely ever dirty enough to constitute needing the two bucket method.

Yes it is! That's the big thing with XPEL, especially on my black ZR1. Small scratches will self heal so there's no worry of swirl marks, which are very visible on black.

It is a semi expensive setup but you'll literally never have to buy another one. The foam cannon goes on the pressure washer gun but if you want to use a regular garden hose you can use this option instead: amzn.to/2KImUO1

How often do you wash your car? Is it wise to daily drive a car with ppf stealth? I'm seeing some opinions on forums and they said it caught dirt very easy. I want to wrap my normal gloss car to this xpel stealth to give it a different look.

I wash the car maybe once every 2 weeks and I pretty much daily drove the C8 Corvette for two summers straight. I actually noticed the opposite. The stealth XPEL seemed to handle dirt better than the gloss version in my opinion.

What is the benefit of getting the Total Stop & Hot Water pressure washer vs standard model? Might be a stupid question but I haven't purchased one of these before. Which one do you have? Thank you! The total stop system stops the pump when the trigger on your gun isn't pulled, meaning, the pump isn't always running. You don't need the HOT version unless you actually use hot water through the system but when I purchased mine there was no difference in price so I figured I'd get it just in case.

Is ceramic coating necessary with the ppf. I'm waiting for my 2021 and uncertain about ppf with concerns about edges lifting? Overall life span? Residual adhesive removal with a do-over?

With the correct installer none of those will be a concern. Ceramic coating on top of PPF is a life saver when it comes to washing the car and additional protection.

5k to 6k, if done by a shop that knows what they're doing. That part is more important than the film itself. If you're local or Pennsylvania I would suggest using blackout tinting.

I live in Irwin. Blackout Tinting is the best detail shop I've ever used and unfortunately, I've seen some really bad ones that still charge top dollar. If you're that close to Blackout that's definitely where you should go.

If both are automatics, probably the C8. If you would get the C7 Z06 as a manual, hands down the C7 Z06. In auto form they are very, VERY even but with the manual option the C7 wins.

I literally watched this whole video to see how to apply ceramic boost and you didn’t show it. When I applied it today, I spray it on the panel, wiped it, and it was gone. It says to dry it after the wipe, but it was dry when I wiped it. Not sure if maybe the panel was too hot or something else.

Each panel only needs one or two sprays and right after you spray you wipe it in and then buff it off.
