Hey doc! I’ve been cleaning under my foreskin every day but it always seem to have this like whiteish colour/stain that I literally cannot scrub Off whatsoever. It dosent rlly look like smegma tho and it looks more like dead skin/ colour stain that’s like stuck to my penis. Could this be from using soap to clean it?

Yes could be the soap. Either use an emollient or just water and wash as explained in the videos. Take care.

Clean what you can. But if you are getting infections that's when you may need to consider stretching or other treatments.

Hello, im 12 and i can never pull back my foreskin, i thought it will change soon but when i tried to pull it back one time there was alot of smegma, cause i had never cleaned under it since i could never pull it bacm, i can only pull it right by the head and no further, i cleaned the bit i could with water but then it started swelling and hurting alot. I fant pull it back any further or it will start hurting ALOT and i dont wanna tell my parents (it also hurts alot when i touch the tip too)

You can wash with water which is comfortable then dap dry with a towel of other clean cloth. I hope that makes it clear.

It's up to you. I've no experience with coconut oil. If it's a good emollient, then it should be fine.

hey doc i haven’t cleaned it until I was 15 and i’ve been cleaning it for 2 years and able to pull my foreskin all the way back and it doesn’t hurt, no smell and no cheese left. but i still have the white bumps on the outer area on the tip of my penis. it’s like it has hardened. I’ve been washing it everyday sometimes twice a day or whenever i get done jerking it. How can I get rid of this? I don’t like it.

Hey doctor I don’t think what I have is smegma idk what it is it’s yellowish and white and it’s tiny spots that are together in some spots of my foreskin and foreskin only I would never pull back my foreskin until I was 15 cause it felt uncomfortable even when I would pee or shower and sometimes it will give that fish odor and sometimes cheesy when masturbating is there any remedies or things I can do to make it go away I’ve had this for years already and to nervous to see a doctor or tell my parents help pleaseee

Okay, so you are 15, and it's fine not to be able to pull back your foreskin. Don't do something if it's painful. it's just not ready to retract yet. If you can retract a little, then have a bath and retract the foreskin to as much is comfortable, under the bath, and let the water soak in. Sounds like smegma to be honest.

Have a nice bath, pull back the foreskin and let it soak. Having a sensitive head is normal at your age. The more your head of the penis is in contact with air and water the less sensitive it will become. Sensitivity will also decrease as you age. Please follow the washing instructions in the video.

Can use a basic simple moisturizer, same you use for your face. And use an emollient to wash, no soap.

@user-wp8lu1bs9v usually for smegma pearls, you just leave them. Keep an eye on them to make sure they do not become infected but should eventually go away on their own.

There are a few options. If recently become tighter then can use a steroid cream to loosen up the skin. If in the UK, go to a sexual health clinic for a check up. Can consider circumcision if no other options. Otherwise can sit down to pee to reduce mess.

Is the steroid working? If not then can also try a stronger steroid like dermovate, use once a day for 3 to 4 weeks then reduce the amount you use it.

Hi there, You are doing the right thing, by trying to retract. It's been covered for 18 years, do it will be sensitive. Never force it back if painful or tender. Can take a bath and see if you can retract it under water, soaking the glands will clean it without touching. Desensitisation takes time, expising the glands to the air and water. Take care

@stickah it will reducecin sensitivity as time goes by. Leaving the foreskin retracted for short periods will help, as will retracting the foreskin when bathing. Don't fall asleep with a retracted foreskin as may swell.

Take it easy. Take a bath, retract, and allow to soak. This will soften everything and also allow the skin to become less sensitive with time.

Some guys sweat more than others. Standing up helps empty the bladder... unless you have an enlarged prostate then sitting down may aid bladder emptying. But Standing up with a foreskin is easier to retract when peeing, but if you are happy with what you do that that's great.
