So glad this helped! You can weave on curves and angles as well (we’ll talk about that in future videos more!) but for classic tapestry you want to keep your rows horizontal

Thank you for the tip on filling those mini gaps that sometimes happen. This is my biggest struggle with traditional tapestry weaving. Also really like that you decided to tackle a more traditional style tapestry for those who might want to try it. It gave me some ideas on how to combine traditional and modern tapestry weaving. So glad that was helpful for you! Those spots can be tricky! It was fun to try out the more traditional tapestry style- I will say it takes a LOT longer than the more modern style with chunky materials, but still fun!

Thank you for asking this question, because I've just realized I don't have a specific video for that! Double warping just means that instead of one warp string between each notch, there are 2. Is double warping necessary for landscape tapestry?

I would say it depends on the thickness of your weft, if you're using a thicker yarn a single warp would be just fine 😊

Wool ease is a medium weight yarn (worsted weight), the frame I think is 5x7.
