Nice vid...i do wheelies for miles on bike, i learnt on my gsxr 750 in 96. My magic moment came when i would change gear as the front wheel was on its way up, so rather than stay in second where you run outta revs and the bike is snappy as in such high gear, better to click into 3rd as wheel is two thirds of way into air or less, then much much easier to regulate throttle and less snappy with differences in throttle movement, after that you can just sit there all day long on balance point. PLUS you can smoothly drop the front end without a crash down, less harsh on head bearing.

Nice job, great teaching and explanations. I am new to sport bike riding, I have had my first bike for 10 months now. I am finally getting comfortable with it in cornering and just all around riding. I was curious if it is possible to wheelie a 300? I am sure you couldn't ride it out probably can't even get it up but I want to start trying the techniques in the first video. Should I start learning now or wait until I trade up to a bigger bike?

My buddy and I ride 250s, you can wheelie but you have to pop the clutch in first. Basically going like 5mph, pull clutch in, go up to 9-10k, pop clutch. I've seen people ride then out in 2nd and 3rd gear, but I think they have to be standing wheelies
