Thanks, this video was helpful. The only suggestion that I would make is, when you remove the styrofoam block, to pull it from the upper and lower center tags. The side parts broke off when I was removing it.

Hi, I need Refrigerator Water Filter Head & Tube Assembly (part #67004659) for Maytag GZ2626GEKB. This part is no longer available. Can I cut the hose going up to the filter and install it directly into the push fitting. I don't need a filter as tap water is clean in Australia. Alternatively, I can cut both the pipes (coming into the filter and coming out of the filter) and join them using a fitting? I don't know what fitting to use for this. Can you suggest a part number? Thank You so much!

My one started leaking today as well. I'm in Melbourne. You can call Marlow Appliance Services as they are authorised service agents for everyone. They did a lot of work on out Maytag that has been nothing but trouble since day one.

Could the filter head be the reason why the water pressure on my Maytag is extremely low?

Actually, we didn't have a normal pressure since the day we got it and installed. But now it's really worse. Could it have been bad from day 1 and now worse, or the problem lies elsewhere? Thanks for your prompt reply

+E Aslam You can check your user instructions for the specific pressure for your model but generally you need 30-120 psi of water pressure to make it work. If you have a reverse osmosis machine or the water pressure is reduced for some reason it will cause problems. I would make sure the water supply valve is clean and open all the way also disconnect the water line from the valve and make sure the valve is not clogged. It is possible the head was bad right away but seems unlikely. I would check everything out first.
