I played this faction for the first time when i had just taushet one of the players the game and none of them had played with the corvids before so i was reminding them that they had the ability to expose a plot which made them do it alot and i was a primary target at the tavle with very few victory points at the end of the game, but now that i know how to play them and my group knows their mechanics too I’m excited to try them next time we play

Finally! I enjoyed the video a lot, the new plot mechanics are super interesting. This could definitely become my favorite faction in the future. Omg, this video have 2 years and this expansion came this year to Brazil. I played the first time with Corvid today and it was a total disaster. I did not do nothing in the game, my friends attacked me everytime they could. It's so unfair recruit just once per turn, should be more.

Put bomb in a spot with a lot of enemies a bunch of times and then just put a non-bomb in a spot with a bunch of enemies and trick them into using exposure.

I'm trying to learn these guys, but one thing I find interesting: If you flip 7 non-bomb tokens in one turn. You get 28 points. You can probably go ahead and flip all the raids early since they pay for themselves if destroyed early. And you shouldnt expect to really flip that many in one go. But you also can easily burst out a ton of points late in the game if you're just patient and keep the few tokens you do make protected.

There is absolutely no way the other players will let you have 7 areas each with both a token and a corvid. Literally impossible, if they have any thinking ability at all.

I don't understand why you would want to flip raids immediately?? Their effect is on destruction and not on flipped so wouldn't it be better to leave those as a bait in an area with multiple factions in order to get more warriors down?? Why would the other players destroy your tokens? Only for the point, but if they know where your tokens are they can guess better your unflipped conspiracies. I think bombs and extortions should be defended to try and flip them and get as much resources and points from the enemies, while traps should be left somewhere to get that extra point in flipping them, maybe locking a faction like the Eyrie or the Marquise down and having them attack it so you can place another one later. Am I missing something?

So I guess the thing where i may have led you Wrong is that its not always good to flip them immediatly. but it is good to flip them. The reason being is they likely wont be removed when flipped. - Because they are a raid. They are harmless until and opponent attacks them. SO they are powerful to have flipped. But you will want to score points with them when you flip them.

The scoring is the key thing -- having a face up token that the other factions are ignoring means you get an extra point every time you flip another token. Have both raids out, then that gives you +2VP each plot flip, which adds up. But it comes down to which is more important to you at a given point - to get those VP (which implies you already have an engine up and running) or to try and get these destroyed to get your birds out.

Yeah you can flip them for the points! They don’t activate until removed by battle though! So it’s a fun trap for opponents to deal with with!
