Nice tips! I followed what you said about not giving much care about onryo and it works alot but the shade part I'd say that dont spam them just buy once or two times in a match only since you can keep them abit busy while not giving them too much magatama but its a 50/50 since they may hoard it xd

oh my god thank you for this video. It's enfuriating to see people not spending magatama, or doing it poorly, and entering the final phase with excess while the other team is already killing waves. Or them spam-pinging the late oni chest in the trials map when you already have enough for wave. I would add that shades have one amazing use, and it's the very last purchase you make if the magatama gauges are close. Advancing to wave mode while simultaneously locking the enemy out for even 10s is game winning given comparable wave-clearing power

Nice video, been watching you for a while. Finally subbed today 😎 Can you find the spawn locations/order including attunements somewhere (eg Reddit) ? Also, would be simple but nice just to make a list of the different courses, and how much they each cost (for reference). Seems that saving the Onryo & Elder shades for the last phase makes sense.

During the last phase you don't really have the time to go free the Onryos, so I wouldn't recommend that. I might do a video on each separate map, yes! Also, thanks for the sub! I will be covering BF 2042 when that comes out, and next year, get ready for Horizon, God of War, etc

Yeah good point on buying shades free magatama for the rivals, so wildfire and the health drain to make their lives a little more difficult. Communicating with teamates would be nice for collecting magatama but most of em don't have mics lol

Another tip, if you're playing in a map with Health Drain, combine it with Ancient Shade with your teamate, especially on the final wave

Sometimes I think I'm doing well, not getting downed much, getting a lot of kills but my teammate has like 40/50 kills when I have 20 I just don't understand how they're getting so many kills I don't feel so slow

Great video. Samurai is op now with the bomb pack. He’s a tank I mean a real tank. I got 120 on the katana that does 20% additional melee and burning for the unlock second perk. Took along time to get a katana curse. But having these perks and the flame ultimate , cut them like butter. Only thing I messed up on is that I have all melee stagger and no melee damage. Down fall for fire ultimate is that it it’s not like the way of the flame where they get stagger.

I got the second perk for the samurai charm, super armor. Now he’s a tank!! That tech flame last forever with blessed strike, only thing would knock you is the boom shot or oni ground shock. I unlocked all the second perk for all my charms. Bomb pack has black powder but one thing I keep messing up is switching it up. I killed myself a few times lol. I only used the bomb to heal and stun. Saw you on gooshy live steam earlier also. You guys killed it with that little kid lol

Tip that will make things 3 times faster: Use a water stance katana cause stone stance katana sucks huge balls.

I find it's easier if you actually play with a person you know and coordinate stuff on mic, pumped out 30 wins for the final emote in 2 days. Still play Rivals now with randoms but the win rate can be 50/50 if they don't know what to do, and such cases you gotta compensate for things really hard.

Yeah, obviously playing with friends you know are good is going to net you more wins than playing with randoms.

I wished if you explained every purchase what exactly does ... you explained some and it was so helpful ... i didnt know what wildfire was doing and i think this is good for 2nd phase not early game

Why are you recommending wildfire? Wildfire does absolutely no damage. Good point about the shades. Health Drain seems to be the best.

It does little damage, but it does chip damage, which means when an enemy gets whacked by a blue haired oni, it doesn't kill you because there's some "insta-kill protection" which means some killing blows actually leave you at VERY little health but don't kill you. Which makes that type of damage-over-time like the fire, very good for finishing you off.

Makes sense to me that... if the goal of the first phase is to collect Magatama, and the enemies drop Magatama as the fire spawns, that it does produce not insignificant chip damage. I myself have gone down before on low health trying to pick up loot in this way 😖

I read that if you release all onyos shades do not drop magatama on death and I am sure I've had it when I've killed a shade and its dropped none. Edit: I can now confirm this is false.

Either newb or pro I'm always happy to just play legends. Win or loose I always have a good time. I'm not horrible at the game by means. I play lethal plus in story game. However there is still rival maps Ive not played. That being said the first time I played rivals in the he first map, I didn't know where everything was and of coarse my matched partner got mad at me. It's really important to communicate randoms or friends. Cause once I know where to go for best results I'm a challenge
