This video is a great resource for anyone looking to win their first game jam! It's inspiring to see the creative process and the hard work that went into it.

Must say that the 4.0 tilemap is so much easier than 3.5.

While I do like the 4.0 it is definitely more bloated and harder to get used to than the 3.5 in my humble opinion. The first time I used I had a lot to figure out and got really really lost. Once I learned how to used it I liked it a lot.

Idk if people have/ tried to speedrun this game, but I did. So that makes me the (un)official No.1 Speedrunner of Spaghetti Swing

But what if my competitors watch this video!??!?! Will it be a tie? Im scared!

Great video! It allows me to vicariously win a game jam for once. Now I regret holding it in my watch later for so long. Awesome to hear you using the engine's proper pronunciation too! I usually put the stress on the first syllable, but I suppose that's being pedantic. Looking forward to watching the next one!

absolutely great editing tips: instead of that black and blue background, just use BLACK, instead of popping in and out animations, dont do nothing, use good background music like mario kart wii track themes. im definetely not discribing Acerola's editing style. i mean it works i guess

6:52 i've never really used it that way tbh, i usually just make a sprite node, change the "Animation" H and V frame modifiers to fit the tile sheet, then duplicate and add collisions where i need them. maybe a lil more effort than it's worth, but honestly i've never tried it that way lmao

I would definitely consider trying it out!

You should have made the map a kitchen! And you have to maneuver around stoves and fridges. I'm not a good coder, but give me a theme And I will think of an Idea
