Hello, Mr I found your video and you are onestep forward where I was looking for evidence to achieve what I wanna do. I want to use my scooter´s batery 36VDC 15A to provide me 12Vdc and I already found these kind of controllers/regulators/step down devices to reduce the 36@72Vdc to 12V 10A. My concern is, if i left conected the reductor to the batery without loads the controller wiill anyways consuming energy from the battery rigth? is mandatory to just conecte the imput voltage from battery to the reductor when just is necessary. if my bat is 36v 15Ac and I want to get more that 10A??? I guess i have to looking for a controller with get more amps?, Can you says how much is the temperature disipate from these kind of devices , is low or high? , thanks for any advice

Goodday! You can connect the reductor to the controller and simply leave it connected. The controller normally consumes some power from the battery, and that's normal. Regarding about more amps from the reductor(step-down converter). Look for a step-down converter that offers higher amp. There are converter that could provide 12v 25A output power. Check this link. amzn.to/4fjWo5Y But you need to consider the dimension of the step-down converter. The higher the Amp output usually the bigger the dimension(size:L/W/H) So you have to check if you are getting the right size so you can fit it during installation. Ride safe!

My controller is 20Ah max. So if i parallel 2 batteries then the ah will be 15+12=27Ah. Is it ok or shall i leave it to single battery?

Goodday! Yes, its ok! You can do parallel connection. Make sure both batteries are in good condition. Same type, chemistry, voltage. Just follow the tutorial video i made. Ride safe always!

if you use a switching power supply for Alternative Current (written often 100V 240VAC ) you can use it with DC 48V to 72V DC or more The reason is that the AC is converted in DC with a bridge , if you put DC current it will pass through positve of the bridge or negative so you do not care about polarity It work perfectly and will deliver the iAmp writen on the switching power supply for AC provided that your battery can deliver it of course . If you use it to feed an alternative battery (for GPS security system often) then you should not mixed the negative wire out of the battery because it is regulated from the negative and the battery management system of the battery have a separated negative wire

I safety way to avoid that possible issue is to put a car´s relay, the sw cable (orange) suply to the relay and the realys sw is between the + of the battery and the + input cable of the reductor, so the amps is a one thing less to worries

Goodday! Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it will work on it. The converter will be supplying 12v power to your speaker. Make sure your speaker wattage is not more than the rated wattage of the converter. Overloading may cause the corverter hot. Ride safe always! Ride safe always!

Good morning, I am a novice, I am changing a 60v 1500w 50a scooter controller on my xiaomi pro 2, with a 60v 1200w motor, I have several questions : on the engine, the green connector: what is its name. Because I have to find these green connectors to replace them on the connectors of the motor cables (yellow, green, blue of the controller) on the controller -how do we know what the connectors correspond to (jst, dupont, hb or sm)? Goodday! Yes! If you are planning to use 12v lights for your electric scooter and you will be using the scooter battery. You have to install dc to dc stepdown converter to get correct voltage rating for the 12v lights. Or simply provide a 12v battery. Ride safe always!
