GREAT VIDEO one question my running load is around 10 amps and the ct i installed is 100/5 so is it matter that the ct amp is close to the estimated load or inside the max amp range second every ct S1 terminals need to short/ grounded means the energy meters manufacturer not done this internally THANK U

1. As far as I remember 10% is the minimum. So if you have 100A CT installed and the load is 10A the CT is still within ist class.Less than 10A load = less accuracy. 2. No.You have to do it.

@@AboutElectricity Hi sir as u recommend to short the S1 terminals on the CT i did the same but when i check the energy meter manual they said S2 terminals need to short. so at first i did S1 terminals and put on power will it do any damage to the energy meter? second sir i installed the meter now on 30/5A CT and change the setting on the meter as well for the CT but when i compare the AMPS measurements between the energy meter and a clamp meter there is around 45 % difference the clamp meter is showing 1.2 amp on R PHASE and energy meter showing 0.6 amps. the CT is 30/5A but when i change the CT size in meter to 50 then the measurements between clamp meter and energy meter matches. energy meter model DIRIS A-20 Kindly give ur valuable suggestion which will clear the problem THANK U

@@tabasumcarpentry5336 ABID Abid follow socomec manual and earth S2.you will not damage the meter by earthing S1.It will only show 0A in this phase.Set the correct ct value in the meter (30).double check that CT are facing the same side(P1 to power supply).choose correct network from page 14 socomec manual an then program it (page 19).

Technical issue with video. There are two terminal "4"'s shown on the power meter in the video. The 2nd terminal 4 should be labelled "6"
