OH My Gosh - I love you - this is so awesome to learn - (I am having either float or contactor issues - old unit and the install in 2003 failed to 'insulate/weather stripping - on the bottom and sides of my electrical box - so TONS of corrosion. I cleaned to contacts, but still not functioning - the plumber came by tapped the contactor and it did kick on, drained my sewer drum, but still not auto working. This was so helpful. (I have replaced a contactor - single pole - on my A/C unit a few years back, so now I remember how that works - same as the pump floats!! THANK YOU!!!! You are a great teacher!

Is that a special type of contractor to have two terminals on each coil? Normally I just see an "A1" and "A2". I'm not sure I understand how the lower float switch is able to disrupt the coil from being energized if there is still voltage going from L2 to the coil due to the upper float still being in a closed position. I imagine you would also be able to replace the first float switch with a pressure switch that tells the pump to run whenever pressure drops below cut-in, but if the water level drops gets too close to a dry run situation, it could shut off the pump? Thanks for any feedback you can give, your videos are some of the best I've seen for learning to do this stuff when there really aren't any professionals in my very remote area to actually call out.

Can we see another application by using a contactor with coil 24 v for the floats with power supply of 220v.

I think using 24 v for float switches is more safer then 110v , especially the float would be inside the water think , what d u think .
