Great explanation of the floats and rigs and pretty much what I have been using for a while. In an ever more complicated sport the words "keep it simple" proves we all over think stuff. Nice one Desmond

Great video. 99% of my pole floats are of the Preston range as there’s a float for every situation and simple to choose from as you explained. In the past I was getting myself in a mess with different brands and wasn’t quite sure what float I needed to use. Preston have done well simplifying the process of using their floats, elastics and the new colour coded dacrons.

Great video. Very informative. What aids your decision making on which size float as in a 4x14 over a 4x12?

Des, I notice that you start winding the rigs back on the winder from the underside. How are you doing that and why? Thanks.

Nearly All my floats are from this range out of everything I’ve tried these are the best as they keep my float choice simple as well as being well built and hard to break. Only one I don’t like is carp shallow so I use the dibber or no float.
