You don't have to prove anything to anyone or the world. Work at the pace you are comfortable in. Then once you manage to understand your work , you then move at an efficient way plus ever heard the saying "SLOW IS SMOOTH, SMOOTH IS FAST" that is 100% accurate in life.

I can get things done, don’t get me wrong. But I take my time with it. I don’t know how to do things accurately and fast.
@twentyonetortas59212 жыл бұрын
Same. I’m doing 6 major projects and I want this done in less than 2 days. I don’t really have much time hence 2 days. I’m not feeling sleepy so my situation is more of how I have trouble completing trains of thoughts and figuring out what it is I’m saying when writing. I’m not always great at expressing myself and completing thoughts instantly. I’m the written version of “wait where was I goin with this?” and I do not have the time for my brain to be like this. Any advice on completely forming thoughts, points, and ideas fast? Imagine the train of thought from Inside Out except it keeps slowing down, breaks down in the middle of the tracks, and even when it’s working unproblematically it’s not going fast. My brain is like that or Internet Explorer sometimes. Any ways on fixing this?
@juliusmillermusic Жыл бұрын
You don’t have to do it extremely accurate, just accurate enough like 80%. If it’s good for 80% go on.
@Andromeda2976 Жыл бұрын
Yes same. However, building your expertise and repeating the same jobs/projects frequently can make you work even better and faster. What I did last year in 2 days, I do now in a day. However, I´m now spending the extra day on more research and adding extra value to it to make the client more satisfied, I guess. I also learned how to step up if the client expects me to do miracles only because he is paying for it. I can now better explain it might take extra time and payment(s) so nor me or the client feel(s) bad about it and we both can be happy with the result.

😂 me foreal cause I be trying to do it right but that causes me to be slower than people want . Like I understand productivity and you want it fast but it’s hard to do it right with so much goes into it in the grand scheme of things .

@@twentyonetortas5921 This happens to me a lot. I have discovered that a solution for not taking time with it it's to not think. Yes, just don't think. First, I read everyday, constantly. This way your brain always has words, synonyms so we don't pause mid-sentence because we are trying to find a word that fits. Also, reading fills your head with ideas that you can connect to whatever topic you are working on, making it easier to write, and create ideas fast, basically letting the back of your head and intuition take the wheel cause it is now smart enough to not have to overly-think an idea for it to be good, it becomes powerful (I basically fall in a dream while doing work where I let my head fall in a trance while listening to fast, happy music). Second, if it's a big project, or some subject you know nothing about, you must plan. Plan and outline everything as fast as you can, even if it's quickly in your head. This will allow you to not delve into unnecessary tangents. Once you have the outline (what are you going to write about in each part) fill it with bullet points and ideas. Once that done you just have to adjust to ur liking and develop the idea without even thinking because it's already laid out. Being knowledgeable in the subject really helps. Third, like what you are doing, have fun while doing it, let your subconscious take over and achieve catharsis while working, let all your feeling out in that freaking work. That's it! This is kind of personal, but I hope this is helpful.

Key takeaways: 1. To do things faster, you have to be motivated by something. Think of something that you really want to achieve. 2. Give yourself a reward whenever you complete a task. It can be as simple as giving yourself a snack after finishing a task. 3. Set a deadline for your task, and a punishment/consequence when you aren't moving or you feel negative about yourself.

Kudos for the video content! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Taparton Faithful Love Takeover (should be on google have a look)? It is a smashing exclusive product for boosting your stamina and eradicating erectile dysfunction minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my close friend Aubrey after many years got cool success with it.

Nice video, thanks for the uplifting words! Although I disagree over the "carrot" approach. The more you motivate yourself to do a certain task by expecting a *different" reward (for example, eating a snack) - the harder it will be to do this task without the reward. Instead, we should find little "carrots" in our actual tasks and focus on them. (Based on Huberman's lecture on Dopamine)

Agreed, it distracts and dilutes the focus. However, for some it is effective.

My problem is that I cannot decide when it's good enough so I can continue with the next step. And if I don't do it till I am satisfied for what it looks like good enough , I feel unsure. I've been fired over 35 jobs because of this problem. I don't know if I should go to psychiatrist or something.... All I want is job that in which I will be good enough so I can keep it for long time , and maybe retire there. I am 31 , and now welder in Germany.

I worked with a lady with this mindset. She thought doing things fast and do a lot of things fast is what the business wants. She lost the drive because every work she has done she was really doing it on a surface level. The quality was not there. One day she ended up quitting and we were happy to see her go
