Hey Jacob, I'm sure some of the less experienced welders would like to know what kind of cap pas you guys want to see on their tests. "Do you guys prefer all stringers for the cap pass, or do you guys prefer a weave pass as a cap pass on the 2'" 6g weld test? I know if it were me taking a test for you guys id probably do a downhand root 5p and 7018 uphand cap and hot passes. But thats just me. To each therir own. "But seriously weave or stringer passes? "

@JacobSchofield that's good because I used to do boilermaker work and I understand that pipe welders do like to do Stringer passes up to the cat pass and then like to cap it off with a weave . But I wanted to know what your guys's preference was and your guys's procedures for the code work you do so that those who are hiring in with you understand what to expect when hiring in with your company when it comes to code work
