Rhythm slashes are a standard way of showing improvisation in a score, giving the musician complete freedom or notating rhythm but freedom with voicing chords or progressions. This video shows how to use rhythm slashes in Dorico, allowing the use of slash regions in music notation to be extremely flexible.
