Does it help to have the same size thread for all three colors? Also same type of thread? I'm trying to use two color fast and a nylon. The nylon is so much thinner and keeps getting tangled... Also, Any tips on using the hand wrapper? the antenna is very difficult to use for this wrap.

Yes and yes! Having the same size thread and type will help make wrapping much easier. As for the hand wrapper, the 4-spool hand wrapper will work using the tension rod as long as you run the threads in the order you want them laid down. You don't have to use the tension rod, but you can use your fingers to hold the threads help keep them in order as long as you keep constant tension.

Hi Chris, Could you please advise me the reason why the tiger wrap method requires that one thread is not removed and the other 2 or 3 that make up the wrap are sacrificed? Intuitively, i would expect the wrap to be more interesting if all threads are removed on the final wrap!? Thank you, Frank

Frank, there needs to be one thread left to create the effect. If you removed all the threads from the top layer you would be left with just the bottom layer showing with three threads wraps side/side/side and no effect would be present. It would just appear as a spiral.
