Would a year or two be a big gap? When it has been outlined in impactful experiences, should I still use my personal statement with limited words afforded for this purpose?

Yes you should consider writing a separate PS for transitional year vs the other specialty you are applying to.

Hello Dr. Sir I am planning to do MBBS from Italy but am from India...so do i need licence from india to apply for usmle or not? Can I show italy licence or licence is not at all required?

@nikitarathee4205 according to ECFMG guideline there is no such rule to pass india FMG exam first you can directly apply for USMLE …. Btw I am also pursuing MBBS from Russia and planning to write my usmle exam this year

@@nikitarathee4205 No… license required, if I want to practice there in Russia. I have to pass accreditation exam of russia then only I will be able to practice there
