It is an excellent Video; I plan to write a Crime Novel Set in Thailand. The Protagonist was not Evil, but he was an Anti-Hero Vigilante.

I was thinking about Lydia Tár from the movie Tár, she seems less evil that the commentary around the movie put the character. I find it so captivating, magnetic, a music genius, a storyteller, and yes, Lydia has some questionable morals, was manipulative and kind of abused her power, but in some cases I find it morally acceptable, or nuanced, or ambiguous to judge for the way that the movie obscure things. The movie obscure things on propuse to me, to generate doubts, like Burning and if the rich guy killed the girl or not. Love both of this movies.

So would an anti-hero be like a villainous protagonist?

Basically yes, but I think an anti hero implies that to an extent we understand or empathise with the protagonist, but the term villainous protagonists also includes the characters we follow that are unredeemedable as well
