How To Write in Pigpen Cipher [2 MINUTE TUTORIAL]

Pigpen cipher - also known as masonic cipher, Freemason's cipher, Napoleon cipher, and tic-tac-toe cipher - is a geometric substitution cipher based off of 4 grids. In this video, I will teach you how to write in pigpen cipher in under 2 minutes :)

There is no benefit of using another symbols representation since the original letters are only 26. There is always !26 possible permutations in original alphabet to break this cipher, also if the language detected is English we can use frequency analysis attack where the thing like ] will be the most one occurs if it's correspond to letter E.

If you use the english alphabet (26 letters) you have 26 slots to fill in with which letter you want. In the first slot you have 26 possible letters, the second you have 25 and so on. Using the fundamental counting principle you have 26*25*24...3*2*1 possibilites or 26!. Using another alphabet or adding accents (~, `, etc) may increase the possible combinations. If you change the order it turns to a simple substitution cipher. The pigpen cipher uses the normal alphabet order.
