Hope the pundits at the big networks start to realize Ange's tactical acumen.

Managers go through phases where they are in and out of the media's attention/good books. Ange was praised for being refreshing and dynamic and never changing, now it's very different, in reality there's a truth that lies in between. He is a very good coach though. Thanks for watching mate!

The free kick had one more element that I haven’t seen anyone talk about: Solanke lines up to define the right hand side of the wall and after it is set meanders away from his position. Leaving the perfect space for Maddison.
@arindam5882 күн бұрын
If that was Solanke's intention then that's elite...but I don't think even he expected madders to send it that quick..

Absolutely, really important that not only the first 11 get chances to shine but also the entire squad, will really help with the progression of the side later down the line. Thanks for watching mate!

they said Ange has no Tactical plan , he is out of his depth and will be schooled by Unai Emery.
@Raptorman09092 күн бұрын
Yeah, Madison shooting immediately after the whistle blows signaling play is ready took AV by surprise, and it does look like it wasn't a set play as some of the Spurs were not quite ready. I think he saw an opportunity and went with it -- I'm glad he didn't sky it over the bar. Seeing Solanke getting a brace was a real positive sign, he gives us an option in support of Son or, when needed, to fill his shoes. Kulusevski has been in terrific form as well, and so has Sarr. Fingers crossed we get something out of this season knowing full well that eclipsing City or Liverpool is less than likely, in addition, much of the middle table of teams are good enough to beat any other team. At the top City and Liverpool are a match with any of the other European teams, but what sets the Premier apart is the strength of the middle table of teams. That strength in the middle is what makes it hard for teams not at the top to avoid having a up and down performance. Spurs of old and not so old could beat the best in the league one week then lose to a relegation team the next, but the truth is that's pretty much the same for most of the teams in the middle -- they wouldn't be in the middle if they didn't!
@ZekkoFootballКүн бұрын
Completely agree. Solanke and Sarr were really good but Kulusevski has been fantastic the entire season so far I reckon. You're also spot on about the table, the difficulty comes from the ability for anyone to beat anyone, which is why it's so exciting but also very tough to become consistent. Hopefully Spurs continue this really good form. Thanks for watching mate!

Good analysis ! I've been following Ange for 15 years and I know he's the best coach, but I can't explain or understand it fully ! I can state at least 10 principles of Angeball - but there's always more to Angeball that meets the eye ! You have explained part of it here.

Good pressure on Villa midfield .. Went round super physical , fouls all over un carded .. Only got a grip after 75 mins when Cash injured and then a combination of substitutions, got them disorganised
@ZekkoFootball16 сағат бұрын
Agreed, thought it was a very physical game and not a lot of rhythm, but Spurs’ aggressive approach in defensive situations helped them stabilise and prevent any progression. Thanks for watching mate!

Great analysis because it highlights the beauty of Ange all and often i scratch my head at certain spurs fans moaning and complaining the guy is trying to implement a system that works . Often the case if the players get chances after chances how do you blame Ange ? 😂 the system is designed to give you chances to shoot and score if you can’t do that then well don’t blame the gaffer . Not only that it seems most people think Ange all is 10 strikers highline only 😅 there is a lot more nuances to it and this analysis shows that.
@randyscraft2 күн бұрын
sadly, some of our fans expect 10-0 wins every game and that every superstar wants to play for us. I think we need a Ten Hag type coach to make them happy every week. Btw did you know that we have scored more goals than all the other teams so far.
@ZekkoFootballКүн бұрын
Thank you! You're right, there is a lot more nuance to the way Ange's system plays out. It's also good that Spurs are now starting to more consistently turn these good performances into wins, hopefully they continue. Thanks for watching mate!

Solid analysis, thanks. Very good breakdown of the situation. Wouldn't have minded seeing Villa's opener analysed too, but it's a pretty small moan. :)

Thank you!❤ I thought the Villa opener was interesting, corner, unfortunate for Spurs though considering the flick on and the deflections in the centre of the box, yet again another set piece though, they need to fix those soon. Thanks for watching! I really appreciate the support!

As a long time Ange follower from the 90's i can tell you his philosophy is built on a basis of defense, pundits and media ragging him out for his lack of defense have thier eyes painted on.
@ZekkoFootball17 сағат бұрын
It’s really impressive to see that come through as well, defensively they were so good in this game, it’s now about consistency and bringing this level of performance to every game. Thanks for watching mate!

I don't think Villa defended badly for the second goal. I think it was the reverse pass from Kulu that caught them all off-guard.

I thought Kulu faked a move on that free kick. Everyone expects the left footed shot to the other side.
@matthewnicholas6365Күн бұрын
When i say I thought, i mean that fully in the past tense, as he didn't move at all

@ZekkoFootball I can't even remember the last direct free kick we scored. I think Kane scored from a free kick in his last league game, but it wasn't direct. Before that I feel like it might have been Eriksen who has been gone since Jan 2020 That's a dreadful record.

It was 1-0 Aston Villa at half. Spurs did all their damage 2nd Half. That right side of Villa was too weak w Cash and McGinn when he’s not in form. Ange did well by pulling Johnson in.
@ZekkoFootballКүн бұрын
Completely agree mate, spot on, well said. Spurs' performance was really top draw, especially in that second half as you say, now they need to put that performance into consecutive matches and create a run of consistency. Thanks for watching mate!
