Fantastic video idea and would love to see more content like this! I'm a little bummed there wasn't more comparisons on the escape, especially with how many different versions/plastics there are for it. I love mine but some have pretty significant flight differences depending on the plastic. just picked the perfect color up in supreme plastic and can't wait to give it a go in a few months after the thaw and things dry up!

I have a justice and I like it but find I never really need that shot and can also baby a firebird to get the same thing. Still in the bag though even if I only use it once every five rounds or so

Justice Ice is in my bag, when I dont carry my frost spark. That Ice yellow is damn easy to find and see. I dont use them often, but theres not much finer for when you have a precarious shot OUT of the woods or need to thread a needle on edge and still get it to fade over fast. The frost spark being oop, makes the Justice a real keeper.

Would be great if you keep flight numbers visible the whole time a disc is being reviewed. That would make it easier to compare to my own discs when thinking of a disc swap :)

This was a great comparison video with clear explanation about the differences along with the video showing the flight itself! I also really liked the fact that you showed different tour series discs even if the player may have already switched teams. It would be amazing to have a video like this whenever a new tour series disc is released, so you'd immediately know what slot to put the disc in!

maybe we could also talk about break in factor for the newer plastics? its really hard to get a beat on how these things will throw a few months down the road when the plastic names overlap and you dont have experience with them, cause everyone knows they throw totally different fresh out of the box

I'd love to see a comparison of all the molds/plastics for approach discs in the trilogy family. Finding that perfect approach disc can be tricky, so I think it'd be very helpful!

Parting line really is the best way to compare stability without having to throw the disc. Alternatively, your softer plastics are always going to be less stable with the same PLH because discs deform during throwing, and the more they do so the more stability they lose.

I wanna see you toss the moonshine frost Spark! Love my Justice Ice, but it can't hold a candle to the frost spark. Too bad they're oop and the ones I got, AINT for sale. Fwiw, neon lemon zest dye soak on frostline, makes them visible. Cuz you know frost don't glow worth a damn and its clear. Thanks for the vid!

i have a domey understable disc that with 40% effort goes 300 on pure pushing hyzer every time i want a disc that i can put like 60% power and do a pure pushing hyzer shot that goes 400 tho.. seems like every disc i have that i can throw like 370 which is my max on a straight golf line shot takes all my effort.. would be so nice to have a 370-400 ft. effortless pushing hyzer shot in the bag..

6:12 I did not like the weird shape of my two VIP-X Swords - you can kind of see the uneven, pointy dome here. They fly really badly compared to my others in Tournament and VIP. Maybe I’m not throwing them hard enough but they are lacking glide and don’t go far.

There are waaaaaayyy more overstable that the typical Lucid Sword. Also the VIPX is domey and if you throw them nose up they won't go anywhere

@@ReluctantAardvark I'd say they have zero turn and three fade and normal swords have like a -3 turn and a 1 fade. I'd embrace it tho, keep throwing it and use it in headwinds. I wish I could tell you how to throw nose down more consistently, I can't quite figure it out

I have a vip sword I bought for someone as thought it would suit them but ended up keeping it, I get a pretty straight finish on a 400ft shot that goes in a pretty straight line, never had a disc that does that

Dude, Striker is such a good disc, my buddy had one I think Opto Ice for a while and then lost it, he replaced it with a Bear and it does well for him but man the Striker was really sweet, super straight and glidey but really controllable. Bear is close. Also 10 speed version is a Musket for me

This comment has already gotten 3 likes so obviously the mold is popular (I know it isn't but a man can wish) and this needs to happen. Actually I'm pretty sure there are even pro players who would like this disc. The regular Gold one is considerably more stable than an Explorer, feels "bulkier" in hand which is a preference thing and still remains workable. Opto ones haven't been my favourites as they seem have a bit less turn but also a bit less fade, but the new Opto Ice ones have been MONEY
