The whole world is watching the New Hampshire primaries and what it will mean moving forward, toward election day in November.
A majority of Americans say they do not want a repeat of the 2020 Joe Biden Donald Trump contest.
But America's allies and enemies appear to be behaving more and more on the assumption that there will be a second Trump presidency.
What could that mean for global geopolitics?

No one ever mentions there is a law which has to go through both houses of Congress which states no President can leave NATO without their approval. The real power of US politics is with Congress which leaves the President has very limited powers.

The US congress had to pass a new law last december barring the president from single handedly withdrawing from NATO. So he can't officially do that on his own. That doesnt mean he won't try to get around the law.

So, Haley would prolong the war in Ukraine that even US thinktanks consider a lost cause for the West? Zelenskyy is losing support in his own country, holding on to power by avoiding elections, preventing a free press, and threatening opponents. He is also losing support among his own military leadership who see Ukraine running out of soldiers that are willing and able to fight. With every passing month of war, Ukraine suffers more damage. Let us remind ourselves how the other US military adventures habe gone this century so far… shocking hubris and almost wilful ignorance of the realities on the ground ending in catastrophic messes in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Libya… but this time, the West will triumph when the writing is already on the wall for another disaster. If Trump is the man to belatedly rob Europeans of their blind faith in US leadership, so be it. It is hardly like the US is upholding international law or protecting European interests. I consider Trump a dangerous buffoon for his own country, but neither Haley nor Biden are exactly a blessing for the EU or most other nations.
