Push back on "workers" being deported. Why are they working if they're illegal? That employer should be fined and made to pay their way back OR help them get LPR status so they're legal to work. We forget they have a lawful permanent residency program that allows people waiting for citizenship to work legally.

In most parliament system the people directly elect the political party who they want to rule so indirectly they choose their PM. While other Presidential system the President is voted directly by the people. How does the US Electoral College choose who to vote for as US President? Who appoints the people to be in the Electoral College per State? I think US Presidential elections get more divisive each election since the 2000 election.

People with lots of capital who figured out how to be "the house" in the casino might be more accurate. I think people in a more advanced society that actually ended poverty on the earth for human beings might compare those "smart people" to "cavemen" or maybe the rich man in the parable that couldn't enter the kingdom of heaven because all of their primary KPIs were aligned against the KPIs that would ensure the realization of a world that could feasibly be called "The Kingdom of Heaven"...

23:55 Impact of Trump’s Deportation Policies on GDP In California, undocumented workers constitute ~50% of agricultural labor, ~21% of construction workers, and ~10% in hospitality/food services. These industries are pillars of the state’s economy, which alone represents ~15% of the U.S. GDP. Mass deportation would result in severe labor shortages, disrupting food production, housing development, and service industries. Agriculture, for example, already struggles with workforce deficits. Removing this vital labor force risks increasing costs, slowing growth, and reducing overall output, leading to billions in economic losses nationwide.

Tom, do you think the millions of Americans struggling to put food on their table, pay medical bills, and in need of serious financial assistance because they are homeless are "excited" to hear that 500 billion dollars are being spent on AI? Perhaps it would have been better for them to hear about the financial effort going forward to help them in their difficulties in the short term. The AI advances will be important yes but to most its importance is sidelined by their current pressing needs. I heard a yogi say once, " if I were to find a poor man starving and sick sitting in the gutter and start to tell him about the wonders of enlightenment and spiritual living he will curse me. Let me first feed and clothe the man, pick out of the gutter and then, perhaps he will be willing to listen" Something like that, you get the gist lol.

@@tylermax631 AI and robots that are good enough to replace workers will lead to mass unemployment. And when people can't pay their mortgage (or rent), and their car loans, AI and robots will not save them. They will lose their homes and their cars. It's as simple as that. Stop making those payments and see what happens. Throw in the unpaid credit cards and a government determined to cut social programs, education, and government funded healthcare, and we will get absolute chaos. The only way to avoid this is if AI and robots are not good enough to replace us.

Not sure I’m tracking the question. All of life is one big “There but for the grace of God go I.” This isn’t about being more deserving, this is about the hard bitter facts of life in the real world. The term 'self made' is a fallacy. It just doesn't work like that. Humans are social beings and they are powerless without help from other people around them to build anything remotely significant in their life. Nobody is self made, everyone either gets help and support from their family, friends and colleagues on their way up, or they steal, cheat, exploit the population at some given point in their journey to the top and stand on people's heads to accrue enough capital to even start creating any societal value at scale. You could claim to be self made, if you can build something magnificent in the middle of the wild forest literally all by yourself. You can even use the animals if you're capable of taming them for a specific purpose to make it slightly more practical to achieve your vision 😂

@TomBilyeu In my opinion, we're all corporatists if we believe that people working together in an organization can produce the valuable results that we are looking for. Some like to view the United States as a large corporate conglomerate. Central planning plays a big role in all corporate boardrooms just as it does in every nation. The major difference is that the government can play the role of currency issuer. Whereas a corporations equivalent is a gift card or store credit. Unless you have a large amount of assets under one corporate roof that are easily tradeable... the gift cards issued by a corporate entity have limited use depending on what's for sale in a given unit of account. The same dysfunctional conflicts of interest apply in a corporation as they do in a nation states government when it comes to creating an environment that everyone is happy to be in. People who want more freedom for corporations believe in their ability to govern better/ achieve more than our government and want to cut through all the red tape holding back the potential of the workforce (if they're more sophisticated than just seeking profits like students of Milton Friedman). People with an affinity for a strong and powerful central government recognize the importance of a government to organize humanity as a unified family in sharing the resources of the earth to prevent disparities that come from one group dominating the commons over another in a fight for resources. Both are relevant. Wholistic big picture thinking about it is essential though. I was part of organizing "The Humanity Party" back in 2016 as a very serious effort towards establishing a global government for the people and by the people of earth. ...Along with other projects I've worked with where people are extremely driven to accomplish "their version" of a political ideal because of how passionate people are in organizing under a cohesive pre-established narrative in a group when it comes to organizing. So I've worked with people like Allatra International Public Movement and The Movement for a Peoples Party that recently ran Cornel West for president. Humanityparty.com is by far my favorite though. And that's where I established my roots. Humans are very tribal. 😆 And it often drives me nuts. 🙂

Personally, i feel that take is a bit jaded considering how quickly "the senate" was proposed as a check on congress for "The wealthy" after the first congress started proposing legislation against the interests of the wealthy. And campaign finance has allowed a stranglehold on representation for oligarchs in American government from its initial establishment.

@@michaelmarshall5438 I forget where i saw the stats so take it with a grain of salt but it was something like 14 percent of parents and 28 percent of step parents abuse, so it is 100% more abuse but that is 2x, not 100x. - People see 100% increase and think it is 100 times. 2 very different numbers. - I could be wrong about the stats but 100 times is ridiculous as more than 1% of natural parents are abusive and if so that means 100% of step parents are. - I am a step parent to 3 kids and i am a bit sensitive about the subject. :)

43:12 The thing with taxes and spending is that both function as the carrot and the stick in human behavior if the only thing that matters to each individual is increasing their net worth. WHAT functions the government promotes by decreeing currency into circulation is very important. Taxing certain behaviors also creates an incentive not to do things with a tax attached to them. But a flat consumption tax to decrease debt in circulation by a percentage of GDP equal to government spending is sufficient to balance the amount of debt in circulation on the conditions that "the rich" aren't increasing the number on their bank account.

Only problem with this video is you are mistakenly linking countries to A.I. The companies creating the A.I. are not really linked to any country. They are global conglomerates who are only American companies based on a legal piece of paper. They could always sign a new piece of paper linking them to another country or no country at all.

Dude, I don’t even know what you’re talking about with the step parent thing. Understand, they place children in this country that we’re alone with people they even know about. I’m a step parent and I did amazing job for my step kid what you’re saying is kind of stereotypical. But you don’t have a kid so you wouldn’t really know any of these things other than what you read leave that to people that actually know

I've worked in those areas and majority are immigrants. Also if you work in those facilities you can tell what the majority of the population is in there demographic wise.

My life used to be running warehouses. We didn’t employ illegal immigrants. Remember, this isn’t about deporting all immigrants. This is deporting people who are here illegally. And even then, even if millions are deported, there will still be millions more.

Have we ever considered that maybe we are sailing this boat of progress in an entirely unnecessary direction? - We don’t need division through the left and the right to progress - as a human race we surely can’t be arrogant enough to believe we’ve made many good decisions for the colllective - 500b in Ai, homelessness and addiction through the roof etc etc get your priorities straight…Christ

All the best, so appreciate the time you put into the show! Keep crushing.
