Watching the movie, it was a lot of Neat Effects and funny Scenes, but one thing kinda took me out of it: the fact that for some reason what gave Venom the Win was the Cleatus and Carnage weren't in synch.... Cause in comics what Makes Carnage so Damn Dangerous is that the two beings that make him up are indistinguishable from one an other mentally speaking, so Much so that Carnage is the only Symbiote that says "I" when talking about himself rather than "We".

@@danitho if you mean Kasady's Romantic Interest, He doesn't usually have one, Love isn't Something he's capable of, it's why he's so absurdly Ultra-Violent as Carnage . Though his lover in the movie is Called Shriek. The Comic Version of her has teamed up with Carnage and is usually a part of his crew when she shows up, Romance isn't really a thing between them. Admiration and "Oh that one's useful to me" maybe, but Neither one is thinking with their reproductive organs on relation to each other. She HAS had her own symbiote for a time as well, but never anything permanent the way Cletus does with Carnage, Or Venom with Either Eddie Brock or Flash Thompson. As a general Statement, she's a Fairly Minor Character, even less narratively Important than Carnage himself, which is saying a lot considering that carnage is damn near a Mindless Monster who just shows up to be Physically threatening but not offer any Personal Stakes to His Enemies (Mostly Spidey and Venom)

@@danitho Oh, Cletus Kasady was Eddie Brock's Prison Cell Neighbor after he got Nabbed for being Venom. Kasady was already Completely Insane, which is part of why he Bonded so Easily with Venom's Child, and the Two of them basically Just became ONE Being, Mind and Body, no Dissonance or Separation. It's also kinda hard to Tell if Carnage Made Cletus worse or if he was always that Homicidal, but Carnage just gave him the tools to Play out his fantasies. Either way, there isn't really a distinction anymore, Cletus Kasady and Carnage are the same person, inside and out. Anything before that point honestly doesn't Matter to his Characterization, Carnage isn't Meant to be very Deep character, Just a completely insane Monster with OP Superpowers.

I really love this one. It would have been interesting if Eddie Brock and Venom did not attend Cletus Kasady’s execution. It’s also very funny that Tom Hardy’s version of Eddie Brock/Venom ate Topher Grace’s version of Eddie Brock/Venom. That would have made sense as if Tom Hardy’s version of Eddie Brock/Venom was saying to Topher Grace’s version of Eddie Brock/Venom when he ate, “It’s not your Universe anymore. Don't forget that Kasidy and Carnage have both died before and come back. So who's to say it won't happen again. Like maybe a little bit of Carnage is left over in Kasady's blood to regenerate and just complete take over the husk. Effectively making the dynamic more like what they have in the comics

I needed more of that club scene. It was hilarious and adorable and Venom looked badass and hot all towering above the crowd. And the glow-beads added a lot. I feel we could've gotten to know the symbiote a lot better if it had just been left to roam the city a ton. All random and chaotic, childish a lot of the time, and bemused by human behaviour.
