Before, the filmmakers were of an older generation and generally didn't understand what about it that people originally liked from the games. Now, the filmmakers have grown up as gamers so they have a better understanding of what they would want out of a videogame adaptation.

Since this video came out 3 months before the Borderlands movie was released, and this video came out 4 months before the Minecraft Movie was even revealed. Im now questioning the current state of Video Game Adaptations as to whether or not Video Game Adaptations have gotten better for the past 4 years, or not.

Sonic was a fun 90s children road-trip style movie, definitely by no means good or great, but serviceable and at least Jim Carrey was entertaining like he was when he started/was popular in the 90s.

As much as I don’t like the Sonic Movies, I know for a fact that the majority disagrees. Lots of people like the Sonic Movies, including Sonic Fans. In fact, when the 2nd Sonic Movie initially received negative reviews by critics, lots of Sonic fans got mad at it especially when they & the general audience like the 2nd movie.

They really didn’t, sonic and Mario are half decent cos they are somewhat faithful to the series. Last of Us was more interested in the message and fallout took a huge steaming dump on the lore

Not liking a show/movie isn't the same as them not being well made/good. There are plenty of "good" films I don't enjoy, but I understand they are well made and just not a product meant for me, for one reason or another. Saying TLoU or Fallout aren't good shows speaks wonders on your ability to determine quality.
