I really enjoyed this episode. I just think that using humor to de-escalate an argument really depends on the person and/or seriousness of an argument or what type of humor is being used. Once I was vulnerable with my ex and he teased me about it in the moment and I told him I’m really serious about this. I think because he make everything a joke and it felt like he was not caring about how I was feeling about his physical distance.
