I was a 22 years old man who went to Hattiesburg, MS, to learn English (I am from South America) who truly believed the church was full of hypocrites pretending to be who they were not, when I had the life-defining moment of my life. I met Joshua Rogers in 1,999, and his example as an honest Christian inspired me to follow the Author of life. Today, 21 years later, I read my Bible every day because of the impact you made in my life. Dr. Jordan Peterson said: “the instinct of admiration is the same instinct of imitation.” Thank you Joshua Rogers for your example, I am a follower of Christ because of that. Wow this is so my marriage I’m in it’s just that my husband not wanting to change I’m all in he wants to go straight to intimacy and forget about our stuff. We are believers! Thank you for your story it was very emotional for me.
