Long time ago, like 20 years ago, I had a friend who paid just under $6K for a crown, turned out she didn’t need it & it had to be redone. I got extremely lucky right after the pandemic & a handsome dentist, who is painless & doesn’t do any unnecessary work, found me. 😊

Thanks for all that dental information. I left Quartzsite and I am now up by parker. And the wind is howling. It's rocking my camper. I have to go back to Oregon to file my taxes. And I am not looking forward to the cold wet weather we get in March . But I do love the green. You have safe travels

Imperial Dam was my favorite places as far as LTVA's go. I got the 180.00 pass and for me it was worth saving on the gas, (went to Yuma twice a month) plus the dollar showers, trash, water kiosk was $1 for 5 gals, mail (I got amazon deliveries at least once a week lol) restrooms ( but I just used my natureshead) I was gonna head there (to the dentist) before April of last year but plans changed and left eailer than expected. Glad you got a good deal.

Considering what I've spent this last year (and I have insurance), that was amazing. I don't have a passport, and I'm on the east coast with an unreliable car. I believe your trip was worth it though. Wish I could do the same.

If you are still there and haven’t done so already, drive over the dam down to the other campsite. There are decent showers there. You can get the tokens from that camp host there. And then on the way out there is a nice grassy park if you turn left just a little ways past leaving that area. Sorry, I don’t remember the name of the road. I think you can actually stay over night at that pretty park also. Except for on Wednesdays?? They flood the area once a week.

I've never been checked at that border crossing going into Mexico; only coming back to the US. I also only walked across. There is usually only a line during the "Winter Visitor" season when people specifically go there for their vision, dental and stock up on their medication.
