Miss Lori, It is a Singer Embroidery Kit Set. Mom won one as a gift for a contest by our local Singer Business. It had two regular fabric scissors, one lg & one Medium. Also, a small embroidery scissor, and a Thim ball, seam ripper, and 30 different Skanes of embroidery thread in the box. She often took her embroidery along on trips in the car.

Miss Lori this may have already been mentioned but I’m posting anyway, my husband has had a lot of kidney stones and I read that lemon water would help to keep them from forming, he drinks it every day and since he started has not had any more stones, about 4 years now praise the Lord!! He got a bottle with an infuser I put lemon and lime pieces in the infuser and fill it with ice and water, I’ve learned so much from you I just had to pass that along, God bless you and Mr Brown ❤

Have you tried to make a tincture of corn silk. Take fresh corn silk and put into mason jar 3/4 full and top with 100 proof vodka. Let settle for 6/8 weeks. Strain off and take 2 droppers full each day. With or without juice or what ever.

I can empathize with you in having kidney stones, Miss Lori. When they are analyzed, you can know what foods to avoid. In my case, I'm not supposed to eat dark green vegetables, among other things.

@@WhippoorwillHollerI saw this Singer set sold on Etsy without the box, sold as a 1960's vintage singer sewing scissors set including: - Dressmaker shears: forged steel, made in Italy. 7 inches long. 530 C-7" - Trimming scissors: Singer 405, stainless steel. 5 1/2 inches long. *These are the missing scissors, since it seems you have the longer, and shorter pair.* - Embroidery scissors: Singer 204, stainless steel. 4 inches long. This never used brand new vintage set was a steal for $15. On Etsy it's sold for $75 and found an Ebay listing for even more. Both without the box, and used. P;S I tried including listing's link's, but KZbin isn't let me. My comment instantaneously dissappears if I do so it is what it is..

I’m sure glad you’re feeling better, Lori! I’ll never forget the day my Dad brought me a 100-pound sack of potatoes…lol. It was the early 1980s. My husband and I had 4 children, 1 still a baby. I had just learned to can, but I chose to freeze the potatoes, instead. After blanching them, we grated most of them, and pressed them into my hamburger press to make hash brown patties. They were amazing, and were so handy to have on hand when I needed a little something else to fill out a meal. While it was a lot of work, my husband and our 12-year old daughter helped, so it went a lot faster! I’ve never frozen mashed potatoes, though, so I’m looking forward to that video, as well. Love and blessings to you and Danny. ❤️

I sure do enjoy and appreciate your videos. I'm 67 years old and miss my Grandparents so much. Both sets of grandparents had farms in the mountains of North Carolina that I was blessed to spend a lot of time on. It's not until you are older that you really appreciate all the hard work they put in to provide the best food possible for all the family. That green color on the scissor case is a dead giveaway it's Singer. My mom had a green singer sewing machine from the 1950s-1960s that would match that case.

I sewed many, many sets of shorts and tank tops, sun dresses and shirts & pants for my kids and so did Grandma on that sewing machine. It was stolen when my Mother died. I was suppose to get it handed down to me.

I think it would save alot of time if I put the raw taters into it first and then the whole basket of potatoes into the hot blanching water. Its done in one scoop and after the 3-5 minutes..just lift it out , rinse them under cold water and the set the whole basket down into the ice bath.First time watching one of your videos, very nice to listen to you both. Thanks also for the vinegar into the ice bath water too. My mom had that potato cutter but hers wasn't a standy one like that. It was more of one. You lay on the counter and they cut it up the potatoes. I'm not sure if she had an interchanging blades but yeah she pretty much like d using a knife with a potato in her hand. She was a old fashioned Arkansas born and raised Southern mother who could take nothing and make it into something for any meal but her most favorite was using a knife for everything.she had have it in her hand and cutting it up but with homemade fries. When I was growing up she used the the french fry cutter that lay down on the counter and you cut it up or you pushed it through it
