Hello, thank you for this excellent series. I've made products elsewhere before, but I can't start because I think there's a lot of competition on amazon and I'll be behind. Do you think there is still an opportunity?
@junglescout Жыл бұрын
I understand your concerns about the competition on Amazon. It is true that there are a lot of sellers on Amazon, but there is still an opportunity for new sellers. The key is to find a product that is in demand but not too competitive.

You said you optimized your listing during the first few weeks. How did you figure out what to optimize and whether it worked? Are you still optimizing it now?
@junglescout2 жыл бұрын
We looked at keywords and conversion, both paid and organic. You'll want to allow about two weeks in between changes so you can figure out what works and what doesn't. It's best not to change too many things at once otherwise it becomes tough to determine what was the successful part.
@timbertdog2 жыл бұрын
How do you determine the review request delay that works the best?
@junglescout2 жыл бұрын
By rule of thumb, it's how long the product would take to be used after delivery. For example, you might want to allow a week or two for an ice cube tray, perhaps the person will have used it once or even twice. For something where it would take time to use the product and see results - maybe three to four weeks is more appropriate.

Hi!! i Just launched my first products. I did the price point strategy but when I try to add a coupon, I keep getting the error message saying that I don't have enough sales to add a coupon. Do you know how I can work around that?
@junglescout3 ай бұрын
You will need to make a few sales first in order to do certain coupons or price changes. There is no way around this. unless you reach out to Amazon support directly!

Great video, but don’t a lot of customers not allow emails from sellers, even if it is through amazons review request tool?
@junglescout2 жыл бұрын
Great question! While customers from Amazon may opt-out of emails, I believe the majority still prefer to receive emails especially if it's about their recent order.😊

I have sold close to 1,000 units and my review rate is just a little under 1%. I have had review automation turned on the whole time and it has Not increased my review rate at all. I think it could be that my product does take time to use; hence delaying the review request would maybe make review automation tool actually useful, but you can only delay the review request if you have a professional subscription. Extremely frustrating
@junglescout Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback. I understand where you are coming from. Yes, sometimes, buyers take time to send their reviews. Even if it takes time for them to use and try it, the review request email can stay in their inbox so they can open it whenever they are ready to send a review.

Hi I'm a new seller and just wanted to ask, is it better to launch initially with a lower price point or start with a relatively higher price point (still a competitive price with our competitors) and use coupons? Thanks in advance!
@junglescout2 жыл бұрын
Hey Devin! We definitely recommend running a coupon code promotion when you launch your product :)
@victoriancu73582 жыл бұрын
If you ever have to lower price, you are in a very competitive market. Amazon wins, customer wins, seller loses. The product they chose requires a lot of capital and cash flow management. They were in it for the very long haul and never looked back. The deeper you go into the negative the longer you will have to stay with the product and feed it with cash to realize a profit.

HI, has been 7 Days since I have enrolled my Parent Asin into the Amazon Vine Program but the total Claimed Products still in the dashboard is Zero. Amazon study says that 25% of reviews received occur within 5 days of the order, while 99% of reviews received occur within 35 days of the order, based on Vine’s worldwide reviewer population as of April 2018. I do not understand why the Amazon Voices are not claiming my product for reviews as the product which I am trying to get review for has some keywords with monthly search volume more than 10,000! The product is a Couple Product. Listing is fully optimised too. I am bit worried and confused too…Contacting seller support did not do any good… What do i do?
@junglescout2 жыл бұрын
Reach out to Seller support again to be sure everything is ok with the Vine program. Sometimes customers have reported nobody requested so it'll be good to double check. Lastly, sometimes a bit of patience is needed, it's tough but your product should get requests and gain traction soon!

It would be tough but if you focus on a winning product then you can rely on sales and word of mouth or even outside traffic for sales and that leads to more reviews!
