Do those over the top screened shims help much w survival compared to shims w no screens? And curious if you have any videos on tiny nuc management? (Those little styrofoam size boxes)

Very helpful information on installing a new queen. How long have you been keeping bees? And how many colonies do you have? I have 4 colonies going into winter and this is my 2nd year.

We have only been keeping for about 6 years. But we have grown our apiary rapidly to 70+ colonies. It’s not the norm to grow that fast we are sort of the anomaly. But love the craft very much.
