I love the “low seasons” in Italia when normal life resumes and everything is a little quieter. The summer is amazing and exciting but I’m happy for the change when autumn arrives. You two are always having a good time and living your best lives…good on you! So happy that Michael has found a creative outlet as that helps so much to pass the quieter months! September seems to be the perfect month to visit - phenomenal weather with the majority of the tourist returning home. Warm enough to swim in the Sea and you don't have to wait to get into any of the restaurants. Perfect combination.

PS - we met Shannon and Philipe just before they opened, they were getting the space ready and gave us a tour of the dining room and kitchen. My sister LOVES Fig and Belle Vista and the bar near Fig. The town is wonderful and I met several locals and dozens of expats who are just phenomenal people. About 20 of us went to dinner in Maratea. I'm looking forward to going to Dolce Vida and Oysteria Dei Murales in Diamonte on my next trip. You guys are so joyful and your post is purely positive ... a welcomed change from some other posters! ❤

I loved the contrast with the sea views in this video. It was stunning with the silver water and those dark and moody clouds. Then the incredible blue. So beautiful! When it gets colder I love to wear lots of layers and eat lots of yummy comfort foods.

FYI: When you create a "notify me" it causes the notification 'dot' beside your channel name, If I click on it thinking you guys have posted a "short' or something, the dot goes away. Hey there, we will say that there are times where you do realize how many different foods you could get in USA. We often make burritos at home here. They sell tortillas at stores and Conad market stocks Old El Paso products (salsas, cheese dip, taco shells, etc). While the food here in Italy is delicious, the optios are not as bountiful.
