You can't be a sleeper with splitter struts, but man, that "Hurting feelings" edit was pure perfection, not too aggressive, but a goo zinger. Excellent, Steeda! 😂

I gotta give it to STEEDA. I was at the Legendary ROAD ATLANTA 7/19/24 (storming rain) and I out powered an S550 Mustang GT by at least 300HP and blew him and the other cars away including a '24 M4 Competition on straights, but that GT had your full kit and left me on turns. In the heavy rain! I'll be getting a few parts from you soon👍🏾

Hey Scott, great video!! I have a Dark Horse on order so I’m looking forward to replicating what you guys do with your Dark Horse. I have a 911 Turbo S but I don’t daily it anymore since in my previous Porsche I totaled it in a head-on-collision that took me 3.5 years to recover from. So the plan is to daily drive my Dark Horse as opposed to my F-150. I will track it twice per year but will daily drive it. First purchase items for me will be your Steeda Stop the Hop kit and Dual-rate springs; followed by Kooks headers. Thank you for the detailed information on your Q-500. Looking forward to enhancing my Mustang so that it matches my 911 Turbo drive character!!! Cheers‼️👍👊💪😎🐎

Great video yet again Scott. I've been coming to steeda's pompano location since 1994. Steeda's has always been there to satisfy my addiction for speed over the years. I brought my first car a 91 gt , my 2001 Cobra and now my current 2019 gt pp1 10 speed to steeda. My 19 Gt I have pretty much copied your 18 silver bullet mod list minus the circle D, tubular K member and carbon fiber trunk. My car's also silver lol. I just recently moved to Roswell GA and look forward to visiting your location up here and hopefully checking out the 18 silver in person. possibly.

I wish NJ had shops like this near by.. It seems like I'm going to have to travel out of state through several states even to get my GT Whippled and tuned right.. I going to need a clutch, injectors fuel, Whipple, oil pump gears and crank sprocket, upgraded rear half shafts, MGW shifter and other stuff too.. You can see how the money add's up fast..
@mkb1690Ай бұрын
Why do you need OPG and Crank sprockets? Those are needed if you like to bounce off redline, but reputable people say it's not necessary otherwise (unless you're making 1000+ HP). Also, get a tune from Lund, they are the software engineering equivalent of Steeda's hardware engineering team.

did you ever tested the Q500 with simple linear 800 spring instead of the Dual Rate ? Is the competition bar only needed because of the 1200 rate of the Dual Springs ? Also the IRS Base kit dropped 0.5 seconds off my lap times witch considering the track was 2 km's long was mighty impressive.
@LongStroke3514 ай бұрын
yes, the comp rear bar allows for more rear bite when coming off corners and getting maximum traction.
@glenv53804 ай бұрын
Yes the higher rate springs required an adjustment in roll stiffness, which is why the comp rear bar was made.
@bnight24 ай бұрын
@@glenv5380 thanks just wanted to verify that my understanding is correct so if running let's say 800 lbs rear springs the OEM PP1 rear bar should give enough traction.

I get that the "Q" comes before "R" and I am down with the thought there. One extra thing I will say could we also add "Quality" for another reason of the "Q". I currently have some of your parts for my 2012 Ford Fusion and I love everything that they have done for my baby. So I can vouch on the quality side as well. Keep up the good work. Hoping to get another vehicle soon that will get your pieces installed on it.

It's amazing just how much money can be dumped into these cars without making 1 extra HP of power.. Most stuff is for sucker's.. There are a lot of things from steeda I do recommend, but most of what he has shown so far doesn't really help much.. Don't dare change out your air box unless you got a tuner ready to go so the car runs right.. If you don't live near a track don't even bother with half this stuff.. Get the IRS braces and call it a day..
