That dent on the fender is the parking dent! When a driver is backing out and looking behind them or at a backup camera but don't notice that the fender is too close to the garage/car/parking pole next to them. Usually you see them on the bumpers, you get so used to seeing it on the bumper you won't notice it anymore something about the shape of the Silverado's square front causes folks to hit the fender instead. Also, straightening a bumper like that, use a big ratchet strap instead for the slow pull instead of the car.

I own a paintless dent repair business in Connecticut, and I repair dents all the time in the exact area on the fender you pointed out. In my experience, many of my customers have told me they made contact with their garage thresholds. Basically, their not good with judging distance going in and out of their garage.

I'm so happy I don't live in NE anymore. I own a 2010 VW CC daily driver and there's not a hint of rust anywhere on it. It's remarkable. We don't have muffler shops either. We do have exhaust shops, but that's mostly custom order stuff.

You should always rotate tires and depending on what and where you drive change to winter boots.. that way you save the most.. That bumper trick is a classic, but very accident prone.. especially with cars so close to the back.. 😂

I worked for ADESSA auto auction in San Antonio, the repos that came in from Ally Financial were disgusting. The trash that was inside was amazing, people would remove radios. People would take out their anger of a repossession on the bank only further deepening their indebtedness to the bank and ruining their credit. They should have contacted the bank and work out a plan to keep their vehicle. If you don’t have a vehicle you can’t get to work.

My 2015 LTZ has rear parking sensors..it has the same seating configuration as yours…i do have heated seats no ac seats…I also have a heated steering wheel…there’s various packages..:u can see what options u have with checking the RPO codes in the glove box

The LTZ had multiple packages. Kind of like how Ford does. I had an F150 Lariat with the 502a Pkg, which was called the Luxury pkg. It had all of the features. The standard Lariat doesn't.

Some free advice for you. LTZ is a RPO code like Z71,Z28 and yes ZR1. Open the glove box and look at the RPO code sticker. It will tell you exactly what a GM vehicle was born with.

I can think of maybe 5 things that one would want to know about a GM vehicle before purchase all found on that sticker. 1) trim ie LTZ, Z71. 2) alt amps 3) G80 yes or no. 4) gear ratio. 5) which 5.3 engine or not.

Tho outer bolster is an issue on F150's. When my 2014 had 8k miles on it, mine started to tear. Had it replaced under warranty.

Its an LTZ. LTZ on the 14 and 15 had the projector headlights. LT had reflector lights. Also the stain in the headliner is from the 3rd brake light leaking. Common problem on these 14-18 trucks. Seal with silicone

If u ever want to verify the trim packages on ur vehicles use decodethis and type in the vin number. It will tell you the trim, original motor type and what it even sold for when it was new all from the vin

"how do I know it's real without calling a dealer?" There's an RPO code tag on it somewhere - usually in the b-pillar, in the engine compartment or behind the glovebox. There are RPO decoders online that will tell you every option the vehicle came with. Also, you should upgrade your trailer fenders with either "drive over" or removables. Then you can put pretty much anything on it without mangling them.

You paid a decent amount of money put money in the truck and spent time working on it to make sure it will be good to go. Is 18k alot for this type of truck? Not in my opinion considering price of a new one plus the 5.3 is pretty reliable. You mentioned you wpuld list it for $20,000 in a previous video and listed it for less. Keep up the good work!

There were like three tiers of LTZ, 1LZ 2LZ 3LZ. That if it is a LTZ would be 1LZ as usually LTZs had body color bumpers. I think you could spec the LTZ with the bench but it not having a heated wheel makes me think it's not one.

I think that’s a LT truck with leather seats and maybe 20 inch wheel upgrade. Like you said LTZ usually has cooled seats and heated steering wheel. Only difference in the 2014-15 silverados with ltz - high country was sunroof and dvd player. I bought a 2015 Silverado LT with cloth and still have heated seats but not cooled.

They could be "good" enough to do an alignment but NOT good enough to pass inspection. Not to mention that they could be "on the way to being bad" but craig being a good used car dealer, he'll replace them. Same as the tires: they have enough wear left to pass inspection but the ride would suck. My last used truck I bought, they did both lower ball joints even though it passed inspection and replaced the "pass" tires with good used ones with plenty of wear left.

Where do you get the replacement seat covers? Ebay has them for my 07 2500HD LT but it seemed crazy expensive for just the lower. I replaced the foam and just stitched the seam back together temporarily.

If you ever go to a dealer, always get a carfax check. Dealers will hide and downplay repos but the truth is, if they’re not making car payments for long enough to get repod, they haven’t had the money to change the oil. Modern engines can’t handle that lack of maintenance. Run from these dealers!

The sub prime buyers usually didn't get the top of the line vehicles. Since the finance companies charge such high fees the dealers who sold to sub prime customers had to buy the " cheaters" in order to meet the book requirements to satisfy the banks. In other words vehicles that weren't actually as nice as a truely nice one but still had the same book value.

Craig, here's the real question... did you put good tires on it, or do like most dealers and put the cheapest Chinese tires you can get? I always do quality tires. To me, it's worth the extra 20% to get good tires. I then use it as a selling point. Yep, I make less, but I feel better.

It is a LTZ but they opted for a 3 passenger front seat witch deletes the a/c seats the other thing I noticed is the fog lights my 2015 LTZ had round fog lights so either it's a early 2015 or it has had body work or you were lied to and it's a 2014.

People watch the top of the fender when pulling in or out of garages or tight corners but what they forget or don't realize is how much farther their fenders stick out just above the tires until they hit it a time or 2 especially when their previous vehicles had almost straight sides from the fender top to the wheel arch. The ones that get me is people in those little cars that have all 4 corners bashed. Do they think it is small, it fits in any place with just a little gap?
