Our story has of how we met and got married in the Philippines. Filipina and American. We married in Bacong by the mayor and she did a nice job we live in Bacong close to Dumaguete on Negros island.

Good for you guys. I just got back from the Philippines, spent 2 months there with my Filipina province girlfriend. She is 34, I am 66 and had a great time together. In 2 years she has not asked me for a dime.Going to try and bring her to Canada in June and then I will go back to the Philippines with her. Enjoy a long happy life together you guys!

She decided back in 2011 that we would return to Australia as she considered I was getting too old to be away from my free health care I get from our Veterans Affairs. Hey Monty, I just saw you on Paul's channel. My best friend that is now in Heaven, was my Pastor for 12 years but back in the beginning, when we first met we asked him to marry us but he wouldn't. He too was a Fundamental Baptist and I was divorced. So over time we became best friends and later on I became his song leader and choir director! So don't be too hard on the "Man of God". Well Monty, you were right when you said that your wife is attractive. Your daughter is beautiful as well. Keep on being positive. I have had several health issues the last couple of years that forced me into early retirement at 55. After surgery Thank God I am no longer in constant pain and feel better. You mentioned that you attended an Independant Baptist type of a church before meeting each other. Although I and my wife attend a non-denominational church I was raised Independant Baptist. It is a blessing to be married to a Filipina who seeks to honor the Lord with her life and who attends church together with me. It seems that you are likewise blessed. Been married to my Filipina 28 years and we both look forward to retiring to the Philippines. Not sure where we will attend church in the Philippines. The task of finding a nearby church that I have enough in common with regarding beliefs may prove to be somewhat of a challenge. Not that I have to agree with the church on everything but at least the things I consider most important.

I just saw you on Old dogs channel, I. Am from California And was disabled the last 15 years there , my last 6 years there I kept getting sicker and sicker seen doctor after doctor all thay said is don't worry it is just a smoker's caulf , I meet my wife on-line ( Philippines dating service) we chatted for over a year , when I came to the Philippines and meeting her at the airport in Manila it was love at first sight for us both. On my 2ed day she took me to the hospital and the Doctor said I had TB and started me on medication and got me well. We got married 6 months later and have been married 15 years now. We live in Pampanga and I Only went back to America to sell everything and then came back to the Philippines I will live here and die here and am the happiest that I have ever been in my life.

@@crewfamilyphilippines well I got well from TB but had some lung damage to my right lung from having it so long. I did get TB again here 3 years later and my doctor got me back on the meds for another 6 months but this time it was my other lung , got well . 6 years later I got enfazema from my smoking still have problems with that. Yes I believe that I have the best wife on Earth. Had to come 1/2 way around the world to find her, so glad that I did. Nether of us ever had children, we did get gardenship of 1 girl here and put her through school so she might have a futcher. She graduated last year with honers . Then we sent her back to her mother so she could help her.

Monte I'm sorry one more thing my wife just asked why is he smoking two or three packs of cigarettes a day with his medical problems he says he's happy he's taking medicine but he needs surgeries it made me really think Monty one pack three packs is doing nothing but helping you get below ground we appreciate you above ground the world's a better place with you in it if you want to help yourself and it's none of my business but I'm going to say it at a concern quit smoking you got no stress you don't need any cigarettes none of our business don't take it the wrong way brother you do what you want but if I smoke I quit and I used to smoke 25 years ago and quit because my kids were on my ass,

Monty, If I may suggest, please look into Cacao Powder/Raw Chocolate Powder, they have it there, it will help your heart, drink as much of that as you can every day. Add some cinnamon and/or cayenne pepper to it and honey if you like, this is medicine for the heart, please get better, peace.

Hi Monty. You absolutely did do the right thing by going back to the Philippines. I am 75 and I am in Tallahassee Florida. My wife is 32 and lives in Cagayan De Oro on Mindanao. I have been trying to get her here for over a year with our corrupt immigration system here. I think I'm just going to give up and I'm going to come to the Philippines as well. Like you I am still working full-time here but I can also quit at any time. I did spend the entire month of May with her in the Philippines and all those things seemed a little strange to me at first I love it there and I am going to sell my house as soon as I can and all other assets I have here and just move to the Philippines as well. I saw your video with the little van that you bought and that's exactly what I want to buy when I get there. I'm glad to find out from you now that they are still very reasonable. I would love to have a Tuk Tuk also but that would depend on spare money. Good luck to you and your wife and I wish you the best of health. I am very eager to come to Dumaguete and meet you and Paul and several others who have been my mentors on the Philippines. @@rgasta7765 Hi... I met her on the Filipina Cupid website. You really have to be careful on there though there's a lot of scammers that are just out to get your money. I don't know how much you've dealt with Filipinas or if at all but the first thing is if they ask for money in the first week to drop them as fast as you can no matter how much they say they love you. Have you visited the Philippines yet. I would suggest that if you have the time and the money. I can't believe how high airfares have gotten from Los Angeles to Manila or Cebu since I was there in May. I'm really seriously considering selling my house here and just buying a one-way ticket next time. I actually am trying to buy a small house in a small Barangay in Toledo Cebu. If I can get that house deal closed I will definitely be moving there. If you haven't been to the Philippines at least watch as many videos as you can it is a different world. Very noisy and the cities are very crowded but beautiful. I love the idea of having coconut trees and banana trees in my front yard. Here in Florida I have grapefruit oranges and lemons but I'm ready for a change. LMAO. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I wish you luck in your search there are a lot of really good honest younger Filipinas looking for a good man and age means nothing to most of them, they just want some security. Good luck

@@rgasta7765 hi again. You cannot own land in the Philippines as a foreigner. I am in the process of buying a small house in Toledo Cebu and the property has to go in the name of a Filipino. You can however own a condo. Of course you would be living right in the city probably in a condo. I have stayed in a couple of condos while I was in the Philippines last time. It is nice and convenient to have everything very nearby and I think all buildings like that have security guards at the entrance so I'm sure they are very safe. I just prefer to be a little more out of the bigger cities which is one of the reasons I'm buying a piece of property in Toledo Cebu. As far as being safe I think you're every bit as safe pretty much anywhere in the Philippines as you are anywhere in the United States anymore. You just have to use common sense and not go places where you really know you shouldn't go especially after Dark. I know you will love the people in the Philippines. I have to agree with a lot of other expats they are the most friendly people in the world

Hello you 2 are happy keep it like that.I had a girlfriend for 10 years I was 48years older then her. We had a real love between us. People and my family talked behind out back. I was worried about her in case I died. And then 2 years ago she lay down on the floor she died .We didn't know she had a tumour on her brain.I miss her I can't get myself to date any one I talk to her all day long . Wow, 48 year age gap is the largest I've seen. 20 or 30 year is more common. So were you around 68 and she 20 when you guys started a relationship? Did you have any kids and why did you decide not to get married? It sounds like you were very much in love. Did you live in the Phil's or another country.

I've been a fan and subscriber of Pauls "Old Dog New Tricks" Channel for the last few years, and took his advice and subscribed you too. I wish you the very best with you're health issues Mate and hope you get though it all and keep on chugging for a good few years yet. I'm kinda in a similar situation to you, I'm almost 61 and have sever COPD. The docs thought I'd be dead a year ago but still hanging in. @@crewfamilyphilippines Yea it's a bad way to die Mate. Sucks. Slowly suffocating all the time. Most people die within 5 years of being diagnosed with COPD, a small few can last 10 years. But mine was diagnosed as "sever" 3 years ago. I can hardly walk 10 feet without the lung drugs and oxygen bottle. Sometimes I cannot walk 10 feet even with that stuff. I'm the last stage before ending up bedbound, on the lung drugs and oxygen and still cannot move, just stuck in a bed. Could think of nothing worse that having Aussie nurses with their toxic bad attitudes looking after me when I'm like that. ..... But anyway for over 3 years I've kind of stayed the same. Hanging in. It goes up and down a little, good days and bad days. The cold winters really kick my ass. I've slipped back worse right now from last winter, which had record cold, but hoping to pick up a bit now it's warmer....... I've found a few people online who don't follow the doctors or normal procedures that seem doomed to fail.. and they've lasted more than 20 years with COPD, so where there is life there's hope. I'm not giving up. I know a place with fresh clean air in the Phils and good friends will make a huge difference. The air is heavily polluted around here where I've lived for 22 years..... I guess we all have our battles........ You're doing amazingly well Monty. Determined to keep living. Very inspiring. Great stuff Mate. Cheers. Best regards! 👍🙂
