I have watched other people shear llamas and how they handled them. You are the absolute best. You are always patient with them and how skittish they are. This is why your channel is the only shearing channel that I subscribed to thank you for sharing.

Your response to the llama is delightful to watch. No force, just gentle nudges and patience. Wonderful video.

I love that you work with the animal rather than just forcing the process on him. It's easy to see how your understanding of their behaviour makes such an impact on the overall experience for them.

This is similar to a particular dog groomer whose channel I watch in that they both understand the animal's body language, know from prior experience what's going to happen when they process a particular part of the animal (like its legs), and do their best to build trust with the animal. So they're both good at what they do, whether it's grooming a huge Alaskan Malamute dog or a skittish llama.

I was watching a vet program on TV where they were attempting to shear. The first things that popped into my head as they failed were: they're not doing that right, those shears are dull af, and they need to call you two.

I tried to send Eddyfamilyfarm over to your channel for tips and tricks on how to shear their llamas. They live in southern Oklahoma by Sulphur. They have 4 llamas. I dont think they did come to see any of your videos. But i think your videos are very detailed of what to do and what not to do for llamas, alpacas and sheep. Sheep is my favorite livestock animal.
