I have been married for 6years. My husband does the laundry(his, mine and our kids),hovering, taking the trash out, washing the bathroom , drop off and pick up the kids, putting the kids to sleep and I do the cooking, groceries, plates and getting the kids ready for the day. 6years and the routine is same. We never talked about splitting the roles. It just happened.

If I was your brother, I do ALL of your chores and let you take all the credit so you get paid/praised for them. Id clean up ALL of your messes and if you have friends over...I would clean their mess also! When you do something wrong, I would take blame for it so you dont get in trouble! Id do all of your homework so you can do what you want to do! I would never argue with you! When we are both home....Id wait on you hand and foot....you would never have to lift a finger!

This was beautiful. My husband and I also made a list of roles typed it out and saved it on our drive. It's been almost a year and a lot of things have changed. Just like you said, nothing is set in stone and so some roles have changed 😅. God bless supportive men jare

I do the laundry, dishes, take the bins out, washing, cleaning toilets, paint, wash the car, look after the kids, pick n send them from school most of the time, and work full time. Please tell me what to do? As my husband doesnt want to help any of these chores apart from changing light bulbs, mow the lawn, after i nag that the grass and weeds are too long and work full time. And complain to me when i do things wrong. Please tell me as im feel like killing myself. When i ask him nicely to help me he will bring all the things he has done for the family and why i should not talk rude to him and raise my voice

Fundamentally marriage does have roles! God created men a certain way and women a different way. Roles are not bad. Women generally are better at certain things eg breast feeding. Need I say more. Even in this video you both gravitate to certain things.
