The fact that you can’t even remember the cause of the fight at the honeymoon right now shows how much we let unimportant issues that won’t even matter in the long run to affect important decisions. My husband and I had our worst fight/fights in the first year as well, but it actually made us stronger after everything because we got to understand ourselves more.

I keep coming back to watch this video and at this point I just had to comment because phew! I can relate so much that I wonder if we are married to the same person. First year of marriage here as well (anniversary last month) and it was harrrrrrd. See ehn, there’s a reason God did not build women to have as much physical strength because person for don kee person pikin. Do we love eachother? Absolutely! He’s the sweetest most playful person in the world but mennnn! brother be testing you on a steady! And that forgiveness ehn, no lies there, all those ‘I can’t take this from anybody yen yen yen’ talks when you were single, na lie! My dear you will take it, you will chew it, swallow it down and give honor and adoration to God, Amen? 😂😂. But in all Marriage is beautiful, the beautiful moments are always very beautiful. It’s worth the work. 😊

Good Video with alot of fundamental lessons. Whilst the coloration of these issues may vary from one couple/situation to another, the dynamics are basically the same across board. Truth is, Marriage is not always as glam as people envisage it, but with the elements of love/patience/kindness/tolerance/understanding et.al, coupled with RELENTLESS EFFORT, whatever challenges that exist can be effectively managed while marriage can surely work out for 2 people who have AGREED to be intentional about making things work-out. I'm just watching this video and I really needed this at this time. I'm not married yet but what you guys said concerning lingering quarrels is so true and difference in love language.. one question I have is, after a fight, things can get so awkward even after apologising. Because settling it doesn't mean your emotions have calm down completely but there is that emotional awkwardness, like so am I supposed to just start laughing or am I saying the right thing, etc.

This was very fun to watch and very relatable as well. You both mentioned the very key things one need to know before and also into the marriage. Yes Love is beautiful, infact it’s more beautiful when you’re sure that you’re loved by your partner and that you also love your partner. But it comes with a lot of understanding, patience, communication and Forgiveness. Trust me they can't remember, it's my 10yrs and in December when we became 10yrs my husband and I and my friend who could remember that day brought it up. We laughed so hard. I pack oh, drove off like I was done but thank God
