The vlogs provide a small view of your daily life and how you deal with some interesting situations which I find a little inspiration. Hats off to Meg for being so supportive. Yeah, you have to remain unemotional and just look at the numbers. There's always a bit of the "gut check" that factors in, but that you can't really explain as cut and dry.

Thanks for the transparency Dan. Your dealership has to make a profit or you can’t sell cars. I know the market has softened up on some brands but not hot items. Hope you get to make some great deals

Bottom line....they are only worth what a buyer is willing to pay. As for extras such as PPF...forget about getting anything extra on a trade in. Unless you plan on keeping your car you are only making it nicer for the next buyer. Dealers actually like it so they can peel it off, show a buyer how nice the paint is and convince them to buy another PPF wrap from them. Not necessarily a shady practice just another option for them to sell.

Dan, one thing about the cars value you failed to mention, (I'm a few years older than you), if you remember. What about the tinted windows, new Pioneer stereo and MTX subs from Circuit City and the Flowmaster muffler. 🤣🤣 JK I can remember some of my friends taking their car for a trade in on new car and would be PO'd when they didn't get offered what they though the car was worth. A couple friends took it like it was personal. 🤣

It's always interesting to talk to people about the value of their car. They rarely understand the concept of priced to move, vs. priced to sit. Just look at the web. People now think that their Z06's are worth close to 300 grand because some drunk fool paid 275k at an auction. It's like the F40 that just sold at Barrett-Jackson. That's not the value of an F40, that's the value for a drunk guy in Arizona who wanted to show off to his friends.

Dan, I can't eat steak at 830pm. If we were 23yrs, yes, but steak no no. I have had a massive stroke. Im 56yrs . Do a check up with doctor. I do it every three months. God is great again.

Tooling around is a car that has been sold is just amateur. Proper dealers just do not do that. The risk is way too high some crack head on a phone could just side swipe you off the highway - you know its happened to you before!! Just Trailer it😁😁

@@normalguysupercar Well not really, claiming on insurance is a last resort and, as you well know, having accidents is a complete, very costly, pain in the ass. Perhaps you don't mind having to deal with insurance companies, repair shops, etc in addition to trying to run your business🤔🤔
