How We Watch TV in Our VW Campervan.

In this video I talk you through how we watch TV in our campervan.
I run through my thought process in deciding what we would watch TV on, what the options were, the respective positives and negatives of each option and ultimately what we went for.

Nicely explained as usual. We’ve not as yet been away long enough to want it but did just watch this on my iPad, so I figured like you that piggyback is the way to go . Time will telI I guess.🤔🍻

Thanks Andy 😊 We’ve found it works well for us so far. There will come a time (probably on the NC500) where we won’t have any signal, but that’s when we’ll watch something we’ve already downloaded onto the iPad. Thanks for watching 🍻

I like to watch tv when I'm away in the van, as I'm a solo traveller it's nice to just relax and watch a film or series after a long day of exploring. I use my chromebook. I just download loads of things before I go so I've got stuff to watch. I've been to a few campsite where the signal is terrible so wouldnt be able to use my phone as a hotspot. Just found your channel, great videos 👍What are your travel plans this year? 😊

Agree with the tablet we use our iPad . Though how do you watch when laying in bed? That’s our problem to solve in our small camper! ❤

We find the iPad works really well too😊 Because we sleep in the poptop, there’s a bit of a shelf up there which we are able to lean the iPad on to watch in bed. It’s not a great solution to be honest but it works for us 😂 Hope you figure something out for your iPad 😊

We use an iPad Pro but you could use any tablet really 🙂

@@sipepguru Not sure if there is a tuner available for iPad to be honest. We usually watch Sky go, Netflix, Disney+ etc on ours so it’s not something we’ve looked into 🙂

@@VanVibesandSibes hi, so I've been doing some research, if you did want to expand the use of your iPad pro, pick up a usb c capture card and OBS (free software), it makes your iPad a monitor, and allows you do use any device with an hdmi such as a switch etc.
