When we all dream for a ramp...... bracelets noooooo a mate once put his hand down an engine to tighten a bolt... it got caught and we spent like 2hrs from underneath to cut it off ...it started raining like 10 mis after he got stuck.... and some say you fill the oil filter before fitting it................ hold that oil at 90 deg or mega cam cover flood..... glug...glug.... crank it for a few secs.. to fill the filter then recheck the level... Miss G is now our resident EP3 oil change specialist good stuff N x

Nicely Done! One Tip for jacking EP civics is that you can jack them from the front on the subframe it saves you time jacking each side up individually Hope this Helps

Just a little tip for next time jack it up from the subframe and put the axle stand on the jacking point where u had the jack because over time the jack will bend and fold the jacking point on the sill. 👍

You were actually not wrong with your fish tank extractor idea. There are oil extractors based on the same idea, some car workshops use it all the time. They often go through the dip stick tube to extract the oil though.

getting the filter off is easy but ffs the mess, all over the drive shaft boot and then it runs down and into the subframe, i use a cardboard shoot to drain it out

Please get a torque wrench, even a cheap one (theres one for 20 quid in lidl at the moment) to torque sump plugs and spark plugs. Its vert easy as a begginer who doesnt have the feel for it to under or overtighten things.

not in UK, its upto te house owner to clean/maintain the drivewway area, no concern of police showing up at all.
