Thank you so much for that video I just bought one of those today I work at the high school janitorial maintenance teachers are always calling me to jump start their cars I usually do it with my truck with cables I figured if I get one of these it would be more efficient and quicker your video has taught me a lot about this unit again thank you so much

Bought one of these a few days ago after my Landcruiser (V8) battery went below the ability to start. Had the radio and lights on after we parked, turned off the engine at a Chick-fil-a.. we ate durning that time the radio shut off and I noticed accidentally left the lights on… we killed the battery while we ate. I noticed a Home Depot across the street, I walked over, and bought this Vector 1200, it was able to give the battery enough juice right out of the box to start the engine…I was surprised… it was perfect for my situation…

I also have a a solar charger in each vehicle. About the same size as the jump starter. Great for running your cell phone and wireless speaker. Plug them both in leave the charger in the sun. Music all day or charge cell phones. Another cool little toy.
@Georgia4Low2 жыл бұрын
Agreed! We have a solar battery generator ( I believe that’s what the cool kids call them) currently only charging via AC outlet but looking to getting a portable solar panel for sure. Thanks for watching

You don’t need anything like AAA or a salvage/junk yard has. I figure if it bails me out once and I my wife and family aren’t stranded it was worth it. Grab one on sale for somewhere under $100.00 and you’ll do fine.

NOCO is a good brand. NOCO GB40 or GB70 will be fine. Hulkman 8.5 are also a good bet.

@@Georgia4Low I appreciate the positivity...I'm stuck at Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut and losing my shirt while this thing charges...
@Georgia4Low7 ай бұрын
gotta hate that but I hope it works well for you. make sure you don't have battery cable connection issues as well, bad cable connections will limit the jump pack from helping you getting the van started. good luck!!
@marklennox21517 ай бұрын
@Georgia4Low ...and after it charged fully in 4 hours I gave it a try...my starter wasn't even clicking when I tried before the jump attempt so I thought I was doomed..the initial try had the starter clicking at least so I took it off for 5 minutes knowing it wouldn't start...tried again and YES!!!...I was doing the happy dance...wow...you were right!!!! Now I can get away from my poker disaster!

great news! glad to hear! I have noticed at times it may take a few adjustments with the clamps to get them positioned well enough to "bite" into the battery terminals to make good contact.

I bought one of these and I like the fact that jumper cables are somewhat longer than they are on similar units. I have not had the opportunity to jumpstart a car with it yet.

awesome, keep it charged up and it's ready when you need it.

Great video Just bought the same one from Homedepot. Great deal on sale. From $89.00 to $59.00 plus $25.00 more off for opening a no annual fee credit card. One guy said you have to plug it into the wall electrical outlet first before plugging into the charger so it charges.
@Georgia4Low2 жыл бұрын
Great deal for sure! Yes I believe the instructions say plug in power supply first then connect to the jump pack for charging. Thanks for watching

wow! that's crazy, I keep one in my truck under the back seat, it's stored in a crown royal bag lol, never any issues. I try and charge it every few months. I keep another one in the house I use for the mower sometimes etc.

I just want to comment and say, great video quality! Nice and clear and good framerate. About the jumpstarter, I think it's kind of ugly/lame how they have that L shape on this one, with that big chunk hanging out sideways. Makes it a bit less packable, maybe that comes off - but then its even more a pain to store I think because you have to be sure not to lose the pieces.
@Georgia4Low2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Yes I wish they included a carry case for all the parts. I keep the battery pack and all the accessories in a Crown Royal whiskey bag lol. Yes the jump start cables unplug from the unit when not in use.

When I plug my unit, in what's the included chord? It doesn't do anything if I plug c chord into it, then it charges.. Has this happened to anybody else

I had mine do this as well, I pressed the power button to turn it on and then the charging LED’s came on.

Did you fix this problem already? If not, I found that you have to plug the adapter into the wall BEFORE plugging the cable into the device in order for the LED lights will properly turn on.

I don't think you should have cut the camera out before you hooked it up to restart it again you should left your camera running so that we could see the whole video where there wasn't any Missing time frame.. You could have easily put another battery in there.
