Where is the proof? هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ - "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful" (Quran 2:111). Find out just one single verse in the Quran, by which you can provide evidence that God tells us to follow any other book/s other than the Quran. Find out any verse that clearly tells us to follow the library of voluminous books, those of which were written by some six Persian men at least after 230 years of the death of the Prophet of God. Find out in the Quran, whether God gave any human any authority to make or author any book to assist HIS Book in the name of HIS Prophet’s sunnah and hadith? @@mazeerahamed1956 Again your all your questions can be applied word for word against the Qu'ran. Did Allah say to follow the Qur'an or a book compiled by Abu Bakr after Prophet Muhammad's PBUH death? Find me a single verse that says the Qur'an that Abu Bakr/Uthman compiled after the death of Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the one we should follow. etc etc. Your argument clearly falls apart when you apply that same standard to the Qur'an. So either your standard is flawed or following the Qur'an is spurious. I haven't even introduced the conundrum for Quranists which is the Qiraa'at. Without the Sunnah the Qiraa'at become clear proof that Qu'ran isn't perfectly perserved. Furthermore, your entire comment shows a disturbing lack of knowledge regarding the hadith. Not surprising as you're a fan of Shabir who's quite ignorant in that matter himself. The fact that you both think Hadith were only compiled/written down 200 years after the death of the prophet and the six books of Hadith are the earliest written compilations of Hadith shows how ignorant you both are. Seriously both you and the "Dr" should do a basic course on Hadith. You would benefit greatly.

The Quran calls Itself the BEST HADITH, A BOOK FULLY CONSISTENT WITH ITSELF. In regards to the verses " obey Allah, obey the Rasool." PLEASE NOTE THE WORD RASOOL and NOT the word " Muhammed." There is a vast difference in inference between the two i e RASOOL OR MUHAMMED. Allah never ever says obey Muhammed. It is the Messenger Delivering the Sublime Message from Allah that we are to accept and follow.

@@Muslimah1987 Salams sister. Yes, you are missing the point. The Quran represents Thee Pinnacle of Arabic language. There are 4 levels of Arabic. Spoken, written, classical written and then at the peak, QURANIC ARABIC. The Quran is the Miracle that Prophet Muhammed brought via Jabreel. Each word of the Quran has been chosen by Allah swt. We would say that each word has been chosen carefully for our understanding, a precise understanding. However, sadly when we read the Quran we are told by Allah swt to read it, without any preconceived ideas, but we don't! We keep in mind what our parents and mullahs have told us or taught us. Linguistically the choice by Allah to use the word Messenger, as opposed to Muhammed is not a trivial thing! The difference is actually very, very profound. But, now as Sunni Muslim, they cannot discern the difference. An example: I send my friend Amer to deliver a message to you. In the message I say to listen to everything that Amer tells you. On the other hand I send my friend Amer to deliver a message but I stress that it is important to understand the message! Analysis: Do you now listen to everything Amer tells you and lose sight of the message OR do you follow the message?? The Quran, if one reads it in their mother tongue CLEARLY Says That Muhammed s.a.w is no more than a Messenger. Also that the task of the Messenger is to merely Deliver the Message. The Quran even goes as far as to say that his task was not even to explain the Quran!! Also " Woe unto those who take hadith other than the Hadith of Allah." " If the Prophet were to invent a saying in Our name, we would rip out his very life line ( aorta). Dear sister, please read the Quran for yourself. Ponder ( Taddabur) over it and realise that the words have been chosen carefully. JZK

All these X1,..,X8 already dead maybe 200 years ago. . How did Bukhari verify all of X1,..,X8 told the truth accurately? How did he verify the context Prophet said the alleged statement, memory, honesty of people who died 200 years ago? How can muslims believe that Bukhari is authentic? Some imam said that Bukhari was talking to Jinn that's how he verified his sahih collection, some say that Bukhari talked to Prophet in his dreams etc.

It's understandable that you have that question still after watching this video. Since Shabir never talks about it. Quran gives the principles, Prophet showed how those principles can be applied to life in year "600" in "Saudi Arabia". The application of a principle depends on geography and time. Very simple example is about Zakah. According to hadith any muslim who owns 40 goats have nisab amount of wealth which would qualify him as rich so 1 goat has to be given as zakah. IN gold it is 87grams of gold. But Quran says in 2/219: “And they ask you what they should spend. Say, ‘The excess (beyond needs)." If you obey hadith and live in USA and all your wealth is $6000 then you have to pay zakah. $6000 is barely 2 months rent and not something that logically makes you rich in USA. But $6000 in a village in Afghanistan may very well qualify you as rich. Many so called muslims own real estate worth $billions but those muslims wouldn't pay zakah because according to hadith Prophet didn't consider real estate as nisab eligible wealth. Any if you ask those muslim billionaires they are merely following the hadith. Yet if a villager has 80 goats as his total wealth, 2 of the goats have to be given up as zakah. This clear contradiction can only be resolved when you follow Quran, because Quran says "spend from your excess wealth".

You misquoted the Sahabiya Barira Ra. She didn't say " I don't need your opinion" as you claimed, she said "i have no need for him ( her ex-husband)". It's egregious slander to misrepresent the companion's speech to prophet Muhammad pbuh like that. The Hadith you mentioned about the prophet Muhammad pbuh interceding on behalf of the divorced husband clearly shows that he wasn't commanding the woman to return. Bukhari 5283. The Prophet (ﷺ) then said to Barira, "Why don't you return to him?" She said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Do you order me to do so?" He said, "No, I only intercede for him." She said, "I am not in need of him." It's shocking you think Sahabas didn't respect the prophet Muhammad pbuh as much as later people. The companions had more respect for the prophet Muhammad pbuh than anyone " `Urwa then started looking at the Companions of the Prophet. By Allah, whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) spat, the spittle would fall in the hand of one of them (i.e. the Prophet's companions) who would rub it on his face and skin; if he ordered them they would carry his orders immediately; if he performed ablution, they would struggle to take the remaining water; and when they spoke to him, they would lower their voices and would not look at his face constantly out of respect. `Urwa returned to his people and said, "O people! By Allah, I have been to the kings and to Caesar, Khosrau and An- Najashi, yet I have never seen any of them respected by his courtiers as much as Muhammad is respected by his companions." Bukhari 2731 How's this disputed when they believed he was the messenger of Allah. They risked everything they had to support him and loved him more than they loved themselves and families.

Shabir you are fighting against the words of Prophet Muhammad pbuh but you accept the Qur'an revealed to him? Clearly the aim of this video is to throw doubt on the reliability of the Hadith we have today. You've made several arguments to this point: Claiming that the narrators of Hadith had an agenda they intended to propagate, claiming remembering the words of Prophet Muhammad PBUH was not a realistic act, using abrogation in Hadith is a sign of its doubtfulness, you even claim that it wasn't the intent of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH to have his words compiled into volumes. None of those arguments are backed by anything. Just your opinion. Curious you put all that effort into a video to demolish the reliability of Hadith without actually discussing the methods of its remittance. It shows that you are aware the strength that Hadith is based on why you would avoid talking about it. First century manuscripts, evidence that companions wrote Hadith during the Prophet's PBUH lifetime, the companions teaching and learning the hadith, the oral tradition of Hadith, The isnad, The matn, ilm ar-rijal, the multitudes of pious, scrupulous and critical Imams, narrators and scholars of Hadith, the entirety of the Ummah agreeing that Sunnah is a main source of Islam alongside the Qur'an. Extremely sloppy talk for a PhD holder. You don't give citation or sources for anything you say. You don't even stick to the topic of "How was the Hadith compiled". You just go on with your opinions and those of conspiracy theory missionaries/orientalists (Those who have alternative histories for Islam) you don't even dare name. And are factually wrong on many occasions.
