Love meditating on the Bible with you all. Thank you. Wanted to add this being that it always confused me until I found this: Both Mathew and Mark refer to the disciples being caught sleeping but only Luke observes why they are in this resting state. Luke observes that their sleep is due to the fact that they are 'exhausted from sorrow. ' I have always thought that the disciples were human and therefore weak and that is why they fell asleep.

Furthermore: had a revelation while listening to this series I found an article on: Since the Bible, and the New Testament especially, presents God as a Trinity (three Persons but only one God), Genesis 1:26 and 3:22 can only represent a conversation within the Trinity. God the Father is having a “conversation” with God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Old Testament hints at the plurality of God, and the New Testament clarifies this plurality with the doctrine of the Trinity. Obviously, there is no way we can fully understand how this works, but God has given us enough information to know that He does exist in three Persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the preeminent and perfect image of God: “The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God” (Hebrews 1:3, NLT; see also 2 Corinthians 4:4; Colossians 1:15). To see Jesus is to see the Father (John 14:9). To know Christ is to know God. Jesus Christ shows us what God meant when He said, “Let Us make man in Our image.”

I have never heard anyone explain so clearly what purity is, and what it means in relationship to contacting other pure things. Touching the dead, blood, are all examples of what is unclean, which is meaningful. How then, can we affirm the relationships of those who insert themselves into fecal mucus cavities and or place what was in an anal cavity into their mouths? How can we as Christians reconcile how blood is not pure but fecal mucus is? This is my dilemma. Someone please help me understand. Im not being hateful or non-inclusive, how do Christians reconcile that anal sex and feces is pure if touching blood is not?

The mistake tim makes is to use outside sources of monogenes to identify its meaning. While in the bible it is refered to as the only son or daughter. Firstborn or only begotten is the right translation. Not the only of its kind, that is implying too much

Around 5:10 you mentioned Rachel being selected having the lower status. I would have to disagree. I think God didn’t favor Rachel all that much. She stole her father’s idols, she was selfish, and bitter, even going out to name her last son spitefully so Israel had to change his name to Benjamin. She was highly favored by her husband, being the one he initially wanted. But I haven’t seen much in terms of God favoring her. She’s even the only person in the Patriarchs’ family to be actually married and NOT buried in the family’s plot in the Promised Land. Instead Leah was blessed with the most kids and the focus on God and His work in her life (after kid #4), even being a part of Jesus’ lineage. Thus, I submit for your consideration that jacob’s wives does NOT follow the anti-firstborn trend.

Your comment makes me see mirrors of Saul and Rachel and David and Leah. That Rachel was the one Jacob wanted but Leah is the one that GOD saw and blessed. Loving the unloved in a sense. Advocate to those without one. Thank you for your comment! ^.^

Cain somehow wasn't doing right if God spoke to b him like that. Something was off that he had to overcome. Matthew Henry pictures him as the pharisee praying with himself in jesus's pharisee/publican story.

I know what you're doing, and I've heard your other responses, but you don't understand what I'm doing. I can only express what he gives me, and it only comes as I'm writing it. It's not to oppress you or counter your message, it's what I know as truth added to his message (not the Bible, but what He's expressing). Bc it's about his word, right fellas? It's not our word, power or position. It's what he is doing in this place, for our time to learn; even as HE has graced us with all that we know, which came from his word, the Bible, and his Spirit to explain it to us; thru others, and here - some other explaining, what He has explained to me, to explain to others. And that's all it is. There are so many others involved and not just you. I really don't understand why you've taken it personally. And don't get wounded by this John, but it sounds carnal. When it's not about you, so let it go.. He is using you, so you should be good with it. You said that it's so hard bc you haven't seen, that is the blessing in the unseen, bc it's multi-dimensional and not carnal, but spiritual. And he is using you "in the Spirit". We don't always know when or how. I'm telling you that it is faith in action. That is what you can see.....Why I said that we use his power is bc it's his power in us, as we are being "used" by him as the partners which you speak of. It's all about him, for him, by him and thru him; with us, that's why he has created this place. For understanding of the next creation. All of this is difficult bc the next is so glorious. His glory, his power, his Spirit; in us will be Him in us, as direct children of God. Get your mind around that....Shalom

If the guy you call Jesus did the things that we can't do, then why did he say, "I am the way," and in other parts he said, "Be like me..." How can he accept followers when they can't follow in his footsteps? That would be equal to someone who can see telling a blind man to look, or someone who have healthy legs telling a paralyzed man to walk. You disregard the truth of Yahuah so you could teach others the traditions you inherited from your teachers. Telling people that Yahusha is Yahuah disguised as a man when the scriptures spoke it plainly: "El is NOT A MAN that he should lie, nor A SON OF MAN that he should repent..."
