Justis episodes always rock... Besides his crazy "we don't need a CB in the draft" take his insight is spot on!

Josh Jacobs is a workhorse that can carry the ball 30 plus times a game. That takes even more pressure off of Jordan Love and sets up our play action even more. Brian Gutekunst is making some huge free agent signings. I won’t be shocked at all if the Packers go 13-4 or even 14-3 and win the SuperBowl. This team young, hungry, and will be the team to beat in the NFC and we haven’t even reached the 2024 NFL draft yet. I thought maybe a 1st round safety but we go out and get Xavier McKinney. This team with the talent they have right now will be a championship caliber team. Go Pack Go 💚💛

Very well said.. they still do need a safty and Nubin would be a good fit .. I think they need another solid CB as well.. I see Gute drafting 2 to 3 secondary players ... linebacker is a need for sure now.. possibly another good run stopping edge rusher and maybe even a defensive linemen to be Clarks next seasons possible replacement and another good run stopper.. the future RB , possibly 2 and then maybe 2 to 3 offensive linemen .. Hell, we already beat or were very competitive with last seasons top playoff teams, now we add the best safety, and a beast running back while getting younger not to mention atleast a few of Gute drafts picks who will most likely contribute right away and be a few more solid pieces to the team, I can see the Packers now being a top 3 team and possibly like the Chiefs , multiple years because we will get even younger and faster.. I had a debate with someone about just targeting all speed guys, but McKinny isn't a speedster , but a stud in every other category..obviously speed is important to Gute , but many don't get that Gute also loves drafting intelligent leader type players ... Offense in general is pretty good to go, but what is very important on this Hafley defense is tackling , run stopping and big play prevention which McKinny is the perfect for to start, and this defense will be balls out hair on fire aggressive playmaking .. this Packers team could very well be the next team to make a few year run .. while many teams are cutting top players , and and rebuilding from older players, the Packers already have.. while some teams have a skeleton lineup , Packers are young, fast and dangerous.. Lions are there as well , but what Campell and Homes has got their team to the last few seasons, Gute and Lafleur already matched them up in 2 seasons.. I have never seen a team come together so fast as the Packers have.. go Pack go

Defense needs a lot of work. They have one competent linebacker and a very thin secondary. Lots of work needed
@thomasott9488
@thomasott9488 Ай бұрын
@@JefferyT1991 not to mention, now they also need atleast 2 offensive linemen .. the draft still definitely has needs.. 3 to 4 secondary players, 1 to 2 linebackers, 1 more edge rusher and a D lineman to probably be the replacement for Clark next season the way things are going .. and a RB

Honestly, I'd love to see a fast RB like the dolphins Achane get drafted so that when our thumping RBs of Jacobs and Dillon come off the field.we can keep them on their toes with pure speed. Reed did great last year, but I'd like a new body to keep reed fresh

I don’t know why Justis wants Quay in the middle when we know it’s clearly not his game. Playing him at Will is where we can use all of his best traits. Also, I know Andy doesn’t like it but I don’t see the need to get a swing tackle in FA. Packers invested time and resources on Tenuta and Jones and they seem to have faith in them. I think they’re ready, they both had good camps last year, all they need is an opportunity to play, like Nijman a few years back.

The only time I remember a team trading out of the 1st when they had the draft was Vegas, and that was the Adams trade which just isn't quite the same as making the trade for a draft pick.

I absolutely love the McKinney and Jacobs signings. Look at what Jacobs did when Pierce took over, he single handedly killed the Chiefs. He runs so hard it hurts. Angry run candidate every week. He will love this offense. Lafleur should spead it out and just beat up on nickel defenses with Jacobs or just go two TEs and run out games. Jones just can't carry the load and his pitch count is low if you want him in the playoffs.

Mike Wahl over at Process2Perform does a great breakdown of unmentioned safeties. He likes Cole Bishop who did score high on RAS, and he thinks James Williams is a dude. By the way he also like Zack Frazier, another guy I rarely hear about, at center.

Curious about thoughts on LBs Drew Sanders, Troy Andersen and Chad Muma as potential trade targets. All were considered good prospects recently but haven't looked very good so far in their young careers. They have the youth, athleticism and developmental upside that they could be considered good competition and depth. None of those guys "fix" the position but could be worth a shot. Last I heard Denver was moving Drew Sanders to edge like they did with Baron Browning and they are a team lacking resources so maybe they consider moving off of him rather than transition him

This draft is so loaded at WR at some point that the Packers will have to pick 1. And why not, who is a 2nd contract WR on the roster currently, 2nd contract is $$$$$$, imo they have 1 spot on the 53 for a wr position without cutting Melton

Too early in love's career to draft a quarterback. The guy would definitely have to beat out Clifford and there's no guarantee a rookie drafted could do that. Maybe in the seventh round.

Packers fandom is underestimating our need at Safety right now. Yes we got McKinney, but if he gets hurt or if we want to play two high, who else do we have? We still need a Round 1 or 2 safety.

I totally disagree with Justin on when he said "I'm just a guy on the internet." Justin's (and of course Andy's) knowledge of this team is through the roof. If I was on one of those national pregame shows like the one with Bradshaw and Howie Long I'd listen to these two in order to get an intelligent view on the Packers. You are just a guy (who has a PhD knowledge of the Packers) on the internet. And yes I know he was just being humble and that it was said in a joking way.

You know who had a good run was Aaron Jones when he ran over a hundred yards per game for five games including playoff games. But no we got to flush him so we can pick up another guy who was injured last year and you're making excuses that he didn't have a good year because of it.

I really like E. Cooper, but i love Cedric Gray, tackling machine with speed. Nathaniel Watson is a true thumper and a perfect Mike. Also like Wilson, Wallace, Ulofashio, Curtis Jacobs and Colson. They need at least 2 ILB, 2 IOL, 1 SLOT, 1 SAFETY, 1CB and a swing T.
