Truly not surprised, and that goes for how they've been handling the NBA Free agency mess ever since i believe Kawhi Leonard and Anthony Davis made their decisions back in 2018, AD requested a trade out of New Orleans to go to the Lakers, and Kawhi Leonard not playing for San Antonio and then the Spurs trading him to Toronto for DeRozan then in the 2019 Free Agency , Kawhi signing with the LA Clippers to go play with Paul George so both Shams and WOJ had a major impact covering the whole NBA Landscape from that particular time

Been picking up on the pull Woj has vs the in Shams has but I never knew Woj had a reputation and history like this.

The NBA reporter business is similar to the KZbin blogging business I know this 1st-hand where everybody rushes to b 1st to the story and in the process they might get their facts wrong or put out information that hasn't been confirmed yet which then becomes obvious who leaked such information! It's a very cut throat business and it's all about who can get first in order to get the most clicks because once the story's been out for about an hour you're basically a nobody just chasing old news A lot of people end up sacrificing who they are just to reach these goals sadly!

@willmccarten Жыл бұрын
I agree with what you said about them being power hungry and how it's messed up that they are the only two reporters that matter in the NBA right now, but what you said near the end about them covering up the whole truth is near-sighted. I 100% agree that they do not tell the whole truth in favor of protecting their business, BUT if you don't think the media has always done that to some extent that you have not paid close enough attention. The media is a business, it always has been. They want to protect their business and be profitable. I don't like the Woj and Shams dynasty either, but it's weird to blame them for something that is simply commonplace in the industry.

It takes us one big break or 1 big story and then if you continue forward on that path sometimes it leads 2 a amazing career I was almost so lucky when I had my first story go viral and then I followed it up and had another one go viral and started to gain traction until eventually KZbin started changing the guidelines became too complicated and it just became too much of a hassle now with everything being so easy to get paid and not as much restrictions almost wish that I would have just stuck it out and continued cause who knows I could've been at a 100k subscribers average a 10k views a video and making a $1k a month just off KZbin... But similar to that line of work it's supercut throat and it just became tired an always trying to be first to the story trying to get your information correct but even when you do get it correct you don't get rewarded for it or Recognition u just get a ok gotta get the next 1 to stay up on the algorithm!
