Adrien Wojnarowski made a huge error when he reported there were no James Harden-Ben Simmons negotiations. It is mystifying because Daryl Morey has clearly been trying to trade Simmons for Harden for the past two years. Morey tried it when James was in Houston and he lost that round to Brooklyn. But did Daryl even consider trading Simmons for ANY other player in the LEAGUE? Hell no! The reason it took so long to trade Ben is BECAUSE the only trade target was Harden, who Daryl has called his favorite player and who he has compared to Michael Jordan! I think when you have a guy, like LeBron, who initially was carried by the refs and came into the league as an athletic freak but without the skills of say like a Duncan on the block or Steph Curry offensively, and then that player is shoved down everyone's throats as the greatest ever before he does anything... Then he comes to the Sixers and ends up trading Ben Simmons (and assets) for James Harden. If you actually listened and analyzed Woj's "scoops," they're literally not giving any new information. For example, if he's asked whether he likes Gatorade more than Mountain Dew, his answer will be something like "Gatorade is a nice drink, but so is Mountain Dew. Both are drinks.
