How Woke Is Too Woke?

I'm struggling to find where I belong, but along the way, I think I'm finding myself.

Joe, on my best days, I aspire to be the type of person you are so clearly aspiring to be. Your humor is what got me started watching your videos, but it's the ways you articulate your struggle to be a better human being that kept me hooked.

I think you are doing just fine and you are NOT an asshole. You have shown yourself to be a very compassionate person. You express your feelings very well. Many times creativity blooms when the "pressure" is off, so I think it's good to take a break from your channel. We will miss you, but we totally get it. You just continue to be you and live the best life you can.

I really relate with your thoughts on this. I’ve been feeling the same way lately. I think echo chambers are the same basic idea as church and it’s brought a religious edge to political discourse.

Woke is religion. Religion is inescapable because we are intrinsically religious. You can't escape who you are. You can exchange what our who you worship, but worship is inescapable, as is an antipathy to what is not part of what our who you worship.
