@baldeagle4710 being married is like taking an El train? 😢 mean an elevated train? A just plain L line? A Runaway Train like Soul Asylum from 1993?? What language are you even speaking there. I guess obviously whatever it is you were not totally screwed over as a 17 year old girl marrying a 24 year old Vietnam vet 1st Lt. having his leg about blown off over there while having a sweet office job at the R&R center there, safest place in Vietnam, simply due to sleeping with Vietnamese whores and subsequently just walking home when he wasn't even supposed to be on the street at all and then getting kidnapped by two super angry GIs armed with a .38 or was it a .45. My ex was already a known RAPIST, PEEPING TOM, stealing stuff from my own mother and Yada Yada. 11 years of hell that was till I finished college in 13 years due to repeated lengthy serious illnesses and able to support myself and adopted daughter on my own and then found the man of my dreams, the precise POLAR OPPOSITE OF THE FIRST ONE at work and we were married in the 80s and never thought of wavering from our commitment to one another for 32 years until he died of Alzheimer's. My real husband in fact TOOK CARE of the very people that my ex husband WAS - the MDSO's at a state hospital for the Criminally Insane. That stands fir mentally disordered sex offenders as if there were any other kind ... Please do let me know anyone what your rationale just might be for the existence of what me ex represents being anything other than that. I certainly wiuld appreciate hearing an opposing viewpoint just in the nature of fairness - in particular those backed up by scientific data. If you do not know what that is try some randomized, double-blinded placebo-controlled studies put out by PubMed and etc.

Fun fact, I have dated "Successful" women and they are just as bad as the other ones. Just as entitled, just as demanding. However, they tend to have a massive chip on their shoulder that they have "earned" the right to be those things, while trying to compete with you, instead of seeing you as a partner. Or... OR, I can date a barista or waitress who may have the first set of qualities, but not the second.

I am successful, not masculine (just a few back to back promotions very quickly) and I don't feel it really changes much about what you want in a relationship. If anything it lifts the standards. I wanted a guy to earn a bit more than me, and I still do. So I'd say we're worse to be honest. But guys are the same. The more you value yourself the more you will want from a partner. This is human nature, not restricted to women. Think of it as if you're marketing something. You can sell your item for $1 or for $10. Firstly if you can sell at $10 why would you settle for $1? That's stupid. And secondly If you did price it at $1 the person who buys it is going to have far more competition to purchase it. Guys seem to struggle with this concept. Even if successsful women didn't want high value men, that doesn't mean they'd end up with the less desirable ones. It would become a lottery ticket.

@@MySimDied hypergamy is natural in women but as women earn more they fail to realize making over 100k a year less than 30 percent of the population makes that which does not taken into account women , gay men , men who prefer a bachelor life style which further lowers her dating prospect. Just as one can have standards so low you can have standards so high it becomes statically not in your favor you will find a person who will check certain boxes. Women say Men have low standards because they brought into the hype that because we are exactly the same and think alike that what I am attracted to in a man they must be looking for that as well. Imagine a man describing the traits he wants and he says he wants some one taller than me, some one who can protect , provide financial security and makes more money than him , is he describing traits a man is likely to have or a woman. Attraction is not asymmetrical and it does not mean men are insecure , It simply means men do not want to date men that are born in a woman's body.
@MySimDied
@MySimDied 7 ай бұрын
@@youngatnaruto Back to my original point though, if my standards are too high they will have to fall. But it doesn't mean that they will hit the floor. If i can't find a guy earning 100k, I'm going to look at 90k, not a jobless guy living in his mothers basement. Believe it or not, there are men earning 30k that are happily married. There are also plenty of 5'6 guys that are happily married. I think you guys put way too much emphasis on what rich beautiful onlyfans and instagram girls say. Of course they're not going to be interested in some guy who watches anime and hasn't left home yet, of course. Those girls for the main can meet their expectations of a man. The rest of us have to settle slightly. But still, I have my own house, car, decent job and I'm reasonably attractive. What can ugly anime boy in his mom's basement possibly offer me?

I've never cheated. But all these videos basically say, if you're abandoned by your parents, you're screwed. If you had a bad childhood, no one should pick you. Doesn't matter I made good choices. Doesn't matter I did better than them in every possible way, work in a hospital and do charity so I can give back to the community, am gentle and caring and able to hold space for those going through insane things (ER Is a quick education, if my childhood wasn't), cook and clean and all that. Fuck I'm more loyal than most people I know. Nope, bad parents = unlovable. Smart men don't choose women from bad homes. I couldn't help who my parents were, and I'll be cleaning up their messes for the rest of my life.

I definitely get where you're coming from, but I think that the videos have a point too. I think it all depends on three things - 1, that you're still not holding anger from your childhood; 2, that you're not repeating patterns that were shown to you during childhood; and 3, the qualities someone is looking for in a person, which most of the time are out of our control. 1 and 2 can be worked out in therapy. For example, I came from a somewhat broken home. I swore for years that I was fine, but constantly kept dating emotionally unavailable men and didn't know why. I've been in therapy for over 1 1/2 years, and that's when I found out that not only am I dating men that resembled my father, but I myself was repeating the behaviors that my parents were unintentionally. Number 3 like I said is out of our control. There are people who wants partners that have healthy relationships with their parents for various reasons.

What men give has to be reinvented. The he-man is changing, because she no longer needs protecting, and she no longer need just money. She is starting to need a man who can balance her emotional storms. So "that" man has to be in touch with the field of emotion, not only his own, yet hers enough to go into that rabbit hole, and dig her out. He has to grow these new muscles, by learning to act more from his heart. Which is going to be quite the stretch for most men.

Men and women are VERY opposite: Women are here to experience beauty, and express emotion. Men are here to experience accomplishments, and to express logic. All this is polar opposites of each other, yet to have balance in our lives we need each other. He needs her touch to remember to let go of his emotions, and she needs him to be patient while logically making her world work. And through love we have the ability to heal each other by doing or saying what needs to be heard, and NOT what wants to be said. Go in peace.@@WolfManThoughts

I can’t stand “the wall” narrative running rampant for unwed/childless women over 30. It’s apparently a crime in society to choose to grow and mature alone. I don’t want to be a baby mama or divorced single parent. I understand the biological age aspect of “the wall”. but as someone who was raised by a single parent, with a very involved grandfather, I would rather die childless than be a struggling single parent. I would never want my children to ever feel like a burden the same way I did. No disrespect to baby mamas or divorced people lol.

@@makhdoommohammad8923This of course is a generalization & my opinion, I also say this because of what I see going on with relationships in general. First, they’re masculine. I think I’d be more open to find a woman in a more rural area of another country….2nd, modern women obviously have been raised to see things from a materialistic & self-absorbed perspective which includes princess upbringing (I do get the evolutionary side but it’s been hijacked by institutions n corporations to make us better consumers too). It’s hard for me to treat a woman like a princess when she’s masculine and expects it. Again, it’s just not worth it to me when I am very happy alone & it’s women that ‘need’ relationships more than men, yet you must cater to their ‘vision’ of what they want, it’s a fantasy you have to uphold & then they may change their mind about everything & may choose to leave u anyway (women respect people that don’t cater to them so it’s like a SETUP here)…3rd, modern women are relatively very fickle/selfish (coupled with hypergamy & the emotional nature of women, makes them relatively undependable in this way). Another big one with modern women is the influence of 3rd wave feminism, which ironically has made men (that listen) more unattractive to these women & could be a big part of the other reasons I gave above. Excuse me if this was too long ha, but trying to explain it all.

Relationships are unique, and people choose partners for different reasons. In the past, women often looked for financial stability in a partner because they didn’t have many opportunities to earn on their own. Today, many women can take care of themselves, so they focus more on emotional connections and shared values. Attraction is also complex-some people are drawn to creative or sensitive individuals, like poets or singers, because they seem more open and caring. Others might enjoy excitement and adventure, but over time, they may look for someone who offers emotional security and understanding. Ultimately, what matters most in any relationship-whether you’re rich or poor, creative or practical-is being kind, respectful, and able to support each other’s growth. Everyone is different, so there’s no single ‘right’ way to choose a partner!

I just discovered this woman who speaks common sense. Thank you, Sadia Khan, for your truth. What pretty women with means have over those who don't is an easy out clause. But she is right. A man who knows you are wealthier than he is but who still "invests" in you is a keeper. I crave a collaborator in the form of a boyfriend. After forty years of searching, I still haven't found the right guy. Ugh.

For the long term I agree that being "looked after" or better put having stability is the most important. And most women lie when they say otherwise If I ask a guy what he does, and he's a manager it is definitely more attractive than if he's the assistant. Bu it's not all about money, it's kinda like the manager position is more powerful. It's just more impressive. And that's important too, finding a guy that you're proud of.

Rich people hate, if strangers go in their home, to fix things or to help at household. It’s better if the husband or a family member does everything, instead of a stranger. Rich people also choose one person to do everything at home, instead of multiple workers. The reason is usually the stealing at wealthy houses, if an item disappears, rich people can easily find it out if one worker does everything. The love story part is very interesting, even a magician queen can fall in love with a person, and there is no explanation.

You tell me: I'm now 50yo, with a spare tire (or dad bod), not a care in the world, been single for 6 years now.. 2 weeks ago, me and my friend (girl) were at a pub chatting having fun.. then a girl came to the bar, sat next to me, and while my friend was away, started a convo.. the same night she asked me for my phone.. I wasn't interested (physically, she's flat, I tried hard since I went on a date with her the week after, still can't do it) but she went into a bipolar rage (remember, only 1 date) where when she knew I was with another woman (another good friend online, we never had sex and never will) she throw a fit at me, and the next morning, texting me a book about how sorry she was.. and wasn't ready.. That.. drains..

I personally have to disagree with its your upbringing thing. I and my siblings grew up in a dysfunctional home(dad bailed and phyco stepdad). None of us have did any of the things this woman has said. In fact both my parents came from “traditional family units” and that didn’t prevent anything so I disagree. Also, people with “daddy issues” are just likely to have the same relationship preferences as anyone else.

@@Chad_Max I can't understand how women brag about being strong and independent. Oh, you mean as an adult - you can afford to feed yourself - just like women have been doing for the last 100 years. My 86 year old mother thinks these women are weak. She tells me stories of what her and her friends did in their day. Before photocopiers were invented, companies had typing departments - rooms filled with women. They had their own apartment, car and paid for their own holidays. At some point they all chose to get married and start families. Independence was the default factory setting. Dependent and married was the goal. Today we brag about being independent...its like bragging that we are human. I don't get it.

LOL @ her saying, that women are attracted to men that are able to look after them. Obvioulsy, it helps and matters. But women aren't blind, and feel attracted to a man she finds attractive looking firstly. Hence women select for looks aspects they find attractive, like a man his height, face, body shape, etc... I rarely see good looking man being single, but I do see being single plenty men that are good providers that have average or below average looks.
